We're looking for a Program Manager to run the day to day operations of one of our Navy Programs. The right candidate will be very organized and be a good communicator. This positions requires that the candidate is comfortable interacting with senior leadership, government representatives, and technologists and is able to build working, trusted relationships with all involved stakeholders. Must be able to quickly adapt to evolving, fast-paced environments and work with technologists on delivering cutting edge technologies.

Compensation: Between $100,000 - $130,000 depending upon qualifications

Requirements

  • Oversee contractor personnel program/project operations, organize, direct and coordinate the planning and production of all contract and subcontract support activities. Regularly briefs senior government leadership on program status and milestones.
  • Supervise personnel program/project operations by developing procedures, planning and directing execution of the technical, programming, maintenance and administrative support effort and monitoring and reporting progress.
  • Manage acquisition and employment of program/project resources and control financial and administrative aspects of the program/project with respect to contract requirements.
  • Attend and contribute to meetings on a myriad of different technology and programmatic topics
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET level security clearance.
  • Applied knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Capable of representing the company to clients and partners.
  • Demonstrated professional experience in Program Management role in Defense Acquisition

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: * Management and operation of assigned programs * Clear, concise, and timely communication with clients and vendors to fulfill contractual obligations * Supervision of field representative assignments * Final program reconciliation, billing, and invoicing * Assist with hiring and training of field representatives * Maintain and develop client and vendor relationships * Assist sales team with site-inspections, client meetings and other opportunities to bring an operational perspective to the sales process * Act as an on-site consultant for clients * Efficiently and effectively problem-solve prior to and during programs, as well as anticipate potential program obstacles * Find new revenue possibilities for clients' programs, continuing to grow the scope of the program and increase profit while servicing the clients' needs * Be available for current clients at all times REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified candidates will possess the following: * Minimum of three years professional work experience related to the skills described below * Minimum of one year of hospitality industry experience * Ability to achieve in a competitive, team, and results-oriented environment and industry * Self-motivation skills, with strong leadership and team work ability * Strong written communication skills * Computer experience to include: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook * Proficiency in math and experience with budget management * Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow up * Demonstrated ability to think outside the box and efficiently solve problems as they arise * A strong customer service orientation and a passion for the hospitality and special events * Ability to problem solve, work independently in a changing environment, multi-tasking skills, and strong commitment to meet and exceed deadlines and expectations * Exceptional verbal communication skills and ability to build relationships over the phone * Possess a can-do, client-focused, team player attitude at all times and must be willing to work through the peaks and valleys of our hectic work schedule Additional Considerations: * Salesforce database experience or experience with a similar customer database program * Knowledge of the destination, including venues, hotels, activities, and trends. * Hospitality coordination/management or hotel experience Accessdestination Services San Diego CA
