OVERVIEW

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

As a Program Manager SME, your duties may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Recommend viable solutions to problems and the pursuit of alternative courses of action

  • Effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.)

  • Plan, research, analyze, and assess system acquisition in terms of development, production, and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment

  • Formulate plans and recommend effective strategies in meeting cost, schedule and performance objectives

  • Support and develop acquisition reports including statutory and regulatory reports (i.e. DAES, MAR, etc.)

  • Support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews

  • Support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management

  • Support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews

  • Support implementation and execution of Agile software development processes in concert with Government and Prime contractors

  • Provide program level acquisition support to the Program Manager and Integrated Product Team leads by helping guide successful program execution to maintain the acquisition battle rhythm and deliver warfighter capability

  • Provide expert advice and solutions to program leadership to facilitate successful contract execution for the program

  • Analyze overall program health and advise program leadership on options to maintain cost, schedule, and performance objectives

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS degree and 15 years of experience, 5 years of DoD support preferred. Years of experience may compensate for lack of degree

  • Comprehensive knowledge of principles, policies and practices of systems acquisition and program management as defined in DoDI 5000.02 and 5000.75

  • Knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air Force

  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition programs

  • Knowledge of support activities that support the Program Manager in assessing what programs are within schedule and cost baseline

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Working knowledge of relevant Program Management publications and regulations to assist with identification, reporting, and resolving deficiencies

  • US Citizenship is required

  • Active Secret clearance

  • Experience working with AFLCMC is preferred

If so, we are searching for someone like you to join our team of experts to support the Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) program located at Hanscom AFB, MA. The ideal candidate will have an advanced understanding of Cyber Security principles (vulnerabilities, networking concepts, and threats), possess knowledge of Air Force Cyber Security Programs as well a DoD references/guidance on Cyber Security, be able to utilize a SIPR Account and Secret workspaces, and have the ability to accurately assess relevance of information, generate and evaluate alternatives, and provide solution recommendations. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: * Comply with RMF, DoD Directive (DoDD) 8500.01E, DoD Instruction (DoDI) 8500.2, DoDI 8500.01, and DoDI 8510.01 and other Cyber Security guidance and directives as applicable; * Ensure engineering activities (analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring) best meets (as resources allow) established requirements (e.g., RMF & DISA Security Technical Implementation Guide); * Develop, review, and refine Continuity of Operations (COOP) package documentation and related artifacts; * Assist the Program Office in developing authorization package artifacts that satisfy Authorization Official requirements; * Review and provide inputs to the creation and maintenance of Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) package for Certification and Accreditation (C&A). EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: * Active Secret clearance * Master's degree and 12 years of experience (5 DoD); or Bachelor's degree and 15 years of directly related experience (5 DoD); or 20 years of directly related experience * CISSP certification * Demonstrated knowledge of DoD Directive (DoDD) 8500.01E, DoD Instruction (DoDI) 8500.01, DoDI 8510.01, and other Cyber Security guidance and directives * Understanding of the Acquisition Process (i.e., AoA, Pre-Miletone A activities, etc.) * Ability to read and request relevant Threat information in support of CVA analysis * Prior experience in either CVAs/tests, Cyber Operations, RMF, or Cyber Intelligence * Experience on DoD or Air Force acquisition programs desirable * Be detail oriented and possess the ability to work in a multi-disciplined environment with an adaptive personality * Possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written * Possess analytical skills to identify and fault isolate problems/issues, accurately assess relevance of information, generate and evaluate alter HBD.0095 and HBD.0127 EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER MCR, LLC is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
