About the team and the role:

eBay is on the hunt for a transformational Program Manager to spearhead the transformation of our shipping experience, setting new industry standards in e-commerce logistics. As an integral part of the North America Shipping & Logistics team, you will have the opportunity to redefine and optimize the customers shipping journey, creating a seamless and intuitive process that delights both buyers and sellers.

In this pivotal role, you will play a key role in setting the strategy and the driving force behind flawless execution, championing operational excellence as you guide eBay through this period of significant change. Your mission will be to dismantle complexity, constructing a streamlined and efficient shipping ecosystem that stands as a benchmark among online marketplace.

We are seeking a strategic thinker-a Program Manager with an innovative approach, who excels in a collaborative environment. You will work hand-in-hand with a variety of cross-functional teams including product, design, marketing, analytics, and more, harnessing their collective expertise to elevate the commerce experience on eBay to unprecedented heights.

What you will accomplish:

  • Spearhead critical initiatives to streamline eBay's shipping experience, enhancing our user efficiency and customer satisfaction.

  • Foster collaboration with diverse teams, including product, design, marketing, legal, analytics, finance, and more, to drive these improvements and innovations.

  • Champion operational excellence through meticulous planning, analysis, and reporting of shipping projects.

  • Oversee the full program lifecycle of eBay's shipping transformation, ensuring it aligns with overarching business objectives.

  • Act as the central point of contact for all program-related matters within the shipping experience transformation.

  • Craft and implement a robust go-to-market strategy for shipping to improve the overall buying and selling experience.

  • Work with internal partners to prioritize shipping enhancements and drive innovative solutions.

  • Manage project execution to deliver on-time, within budget, and to scope, while maintaining key partner relationships and providing leadership with regular project updates and data-driven insights for ongoing optimization.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field; Master's degree and/or PMP Certification preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of program or project management experience in e-commerce or logistics, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale, cross-functional projects.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and hold accountability across all levels of an organization through negotiation and information management.

  • Proficient in managing multiple partners and priorities in a global, cross-functional environment, maintaining efficiency and transparency.

  • Strong independent operational skills, with the ability to take initiative and operate effectively under ambiguous circumstances.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to deliver clear, concise verbal and written presentations, including functional/technical specifications and status reports.

  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a rigorous and intellectually honest approach to operations.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.

$106,800 - $162,800

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
