The Program Manager, School of Nursing & Health Professions, supports the work of the Dean and serves as the administrative operations manager for the School of Nursing and Health Professions. This position provides support in the areas of business operations, accreditation and regulation processes and reports, technology, data management and analysis, resource and budget management, travel, events, staff and student worker supervision, and internal/external relationships and partnerships.
Direct Report to: Dean of the School of Nursing and Health Professions
Support of the Office of the Dean
Supports the work of the Dean including activities, events, travel, meetings, calendar, correspondence, and communications.
Manages the Office of the Dean of the School of Nursing and Health Professions to ensure that it operates effectively and efficiently.
Prepares correspondence and reports for internal and external utilization and publication.
Maintains confidentiality of both student and faculty records.
Supports the development, implementation, and evaluation of academic programs and other offerings, including certificate and continuing education programs.
Supports and documents the development and implementation of academic policies, procedures, projects, and work aids.
Supports the development and tracking of program budgets and expenditures, including capital expenditures.
Supports recruitment of faculty in new and existing programs.
Technology and Data Management and Analysis
Manages data collection, analysis, storage, and retrieval in an effective manner.
Assists in preparing accreditation, regulatory, certification, Board of Nursing, and other necessary reports in a timely manner.
Oversees the creation of brochures, flyers, and programs for various activities scheduled throughout the year and for marketing purposes.
Works with Advancement, Registrar, University Communications and Marketing, and other departments as needed.
Develops and maintains a variety of departmental databases including student admission, progression, retention, leaves of absence, NCLEX and certification pass rates, incident reports, awards and recognition, and academic probation as needed.
Day to Day School Operations
Supports onboarding of new faculty and staff.
Supporting office of the Dean in tracking full time faculty workload credit and overload contract.
Initiation and maintenance of selected contracts.
Coordinates special events on and off campus (e.g., New Student Orientation, Admitted Student Day, student receptions, job fairs, speakers, workshops. etc.)
Participates in job fairs and community events and represents the School of Nursing and Health Professions in collaboration with Admissions.
Coordinates services of outside vendors and software companies.
Oversees ordering of supplies needed for office, labs, and teaching activities.
Supervision of selected student workers.
Update, review, and distribute SNHP handbook and catalog changes.
Collaborates with SNHP, Clinical CoordinationTeam, faculty, and other departments to create and maintain course schedules every semester in infrastructural systems.
Assist with student registration of SNHP students.

Minimum
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject from an accredited institution or 3-5 years of relevant work experience
Preferred
Master's Degree in a relevant subject from an accredited institution
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and work with individuals at all levels of the university
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, faculty, students and community members of diverse academic, socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google or related software
Highly organized with strong personal management skills in order to meet the needs of a dynamic environment
Meticulous attention to detail

Demonstrated proficiency in planning and coordinating special events
Proficiency using academic learning management systems and using platforms to manage, retrieve, and store data and create reports from data
Physical Requirements
Duties involve light work in an office and community setting and requires a minimum of physical effort with intermittent sitting, standing, climbing stairs, and walking inclines. Must be able to lift 20 pounds, walk the campus with ease, and have excellent motor skills. Must have finger dexterity. Must be able to communicate information and ideas so that others will understand.
Other Requirements
This is a full time, exempt position. Forty hours per week (M-F) will be the general rule. However, depending on the project cycles and workflow demands of the department, additional hours or workday schedule changes may be occasionally required. Must be willing and able to work occasional nights and weekends and have a varying schedule when required
