We are seeking a highly qualified and entrepreneurial engineer with a passion for bringing innovative products to market. Triton's diverse set of projects will give you experience across the engineering spectrum and allow you to shine in a fast-paced environment. Platforms include medical products, V-22 Osprey vertical takeoff aircraft bearings, water purification, energy harvesting, communication systems, hearing protection, acoustics, and ocean systems.


  • Program technical leadership

  • Ideation, technology research, and product development

  • Presentation of results to customers (written and oral)

  • Self-starter with the ability to recognize and creatively solve complex problems

  • Strong proficiency with FEA analysis and modeling

  • Ability to mentor and direct younger engineers

Desired qualifications would include some of the following

  • Adaptability in a highly collaborative and multi-disciplinary environment

  • Broad interest in science and technology with an interest in expanding into new fields

  • Experience in proposal-writing and contract R&D (e.g. SBIR) is a plus (but not a requirement)

  • Solid understanding of product design process including: human centered design, design for manufacturing, and prototype fabrication methods

  • Experience conducting analysis of alternatives and technology review

  • Familiar with Solidworks


  • Engineering B.S., Advanced degree is a plus.

  • 5-15 years experience working in design and prototype fabrication and testing is desired

  • Experience managing technical teams and directing projects

  • This position could be at a senior engineer, principal engineer or program manager

Key Responsibilities * Manage environmental projects, site characterization, remedial designs, and preparation of reports and other related documentation, * Prepare proposals and assist in the preparation of large-scale proposals including developing work scopes, task-level budgets, and cost estimates, * Maintain successful client relations while working on multiple projects at one time * Manage project contracts, staff, budgets and schedules, * Manage clients and associated project work with the support of key staff in accordance with state and Federal regulations and protocols, * Perform, analyze and report on specific environmental project tasks, * Research and recommend solutions to technical problems in accordance with accepted scientific/engineering practices and principles, * Participate and collaborate with other Wood offices and staff on large, multidisciplinary assignments, and * Motivate, train, and mentor staff assigned to his/her tasks or projects. Skills / Qualifications * B.S or M.S. with directly related degree in geology, environmental science, or other related field, * 10-15 years relevant experience with increasing levels of project complexity and management responsibility, * Knowledge of industry-standard project management tools (software) * Strong commitment to company's safety program; follow company safety standards, site safety standards and maintain safe workplace practices, * Must pass drug test, physical, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving policy. * Must take training and become a Wood-qualified Senior Project Manager Preferred Qualifications: * Certification as Licensed Site Professional in Massachusetts. * Knowledge of federal programs (e.g., RCRA, CERCLA) * Experience with per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances. Experience * Experience across a range of commercial, industrial, and federal sectors, * Strong written and oral communication skills, strong desire to provide excellent, innovative, practical customer services and a commitment to technical excellence, * Must be well organized, have the ability to manage and prioritize several assignments at one time, deliver on time and on budget, * Highly experienced in the preparation of environmental reports including presenting complex technical information in a concise and accurate manner, * Highly competent in leading, planning, designing and managing multi-media site investigations.
