JOB SUMMARY
The Program Manager is responsible for leading and fulfilling the goals of the Lung Health Initiative. This position involves collaborating with stakeholders, designing workflows, securing grants, managing program activities, ensuring compliance, coordinating volunteers, and fostering relationships to drive the successful implementation of a state-wide lung cancer screening initiative. The Program Manager role reports directly to the Florida Lung Health Coalition operational officers.
You will:
Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify priorities, resources, and timelines for implementing the lung cancer screening pilot across Florida.
Lead the design and development of workflows, protocols, and outreach programs aimed at enhancing lung health initiatives.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and integration of the lung cancer screening initiative.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, healthcare laws, and accreditation requirements.
Implement quality assurance measures to monitor program effectiveness and adherence to best practices.
Develop and implement strategies for recruiting volunteers through various channels, including online platforms, community outreach, and partnerships
Continuously seek grant opportunities and write compelling grant applications to secure funding for lung health initiatives.
If You Are:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, public health, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in program management within the healthcare or public health sector, preferably related to lung health initiatives.
Strong understanding of grant acquisition processes and experience in writing successful grant applications.
Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Familiarity with regulatory standards, healthcare laws, and quality assurance methodologies.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting software.
