ROLE SUMMARY:

The Executive Program Office (EPO) manages the largest, most cross-functional projects for the company. This role plays a very cross-functional roles helping to program manage across three main areas: will help oversee new product launches, international projects, and new business ventures and will be responsible for working with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, on budget and are strategically aligned with the company goals. This role will support radiating information both to the Executive team as well as company wide in our various monthly meetings. Knowledge and experience in retail & ecommerce is a plus. We are looking for candidates with experience in the following workflows: Logistics and supply chain, physical product development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role is highly diverse; you will be focused on the three main areas:

  • Product Innovation:

  • Program Management for new innovation for physical product and serve as the liaison to manage up and across the organization to drive large programs, track progress, enforce accountability and mitigate risks while maintaining cross-functional relationships.

  • Steward the full work cycle of DSC's tactile projects (such as grooming products, shaving accessories & collateral) from ideation thru production to launch. Specifically, you will help drive the stage-gate process for new products and collaborate with Product Development, Supply Chain, Packaging, Brand Marketing, Engineering, Information Systems and other cross-functional teams to develop project plans, track progress and enforce accountability

  • You will host retrospectives and learnings for all projects; during the planning phase you will work with data systems and finance to define a plan to report performance. Post-launch, you are responsible for hosting a retrospective and working with applicable teams to report performance.

  • PMO Cross-Functional Meetings & Information Sharing:

  • Working with the VP, PMO, you will help build necessary comms for the business. One of the key functions of the PMO is to work across all functions to radiate information on the core business, the roadmap, capacity challenges and project performance. Our team is responsible for maintaining visibility and transparency for the company and you will help compile information for these conversations.

  • International Program Management:

  • Our international team needs support to build and manage their roadmap & major international programs. This role will be slightly heavier lifting in the beginning as we bring our international markets to parody to the US. This role is instrumental in developing prioritization & communication processes that meet the needs of the international teams and fits into the processes that we have in place.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience working for a CPG brand and autonomously managing new product innovation. You should have experience working in mass retail and be very comfortable with the steps needed to bring new physical products to market across all channels (digital & at shelf).

Essential:

  • 4+ years' experience managing physical product innovation with extensive experience in waterfall & agile project management

  • Strong communication skills with a propensity to lead and run process and optimize teams

  • Prior experience with waterfall & agile methodologies

  • Experience building and leading complex timelines, preferably in SmartSheets

  • Experience resource managing and capacity planning for large programs a plus

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4+years equivalent work experience

Preferred:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Quantitative analytical abilities

  • Proven problem-solving skills.

  • Retail/CPG/Marketing background

  • International experience a plus
