We at Perspecta are currently seeking a Program Manager in Washington DC

The Program Manager is responsible for all contract activities. Sets policies and procedures, technical standards, methods, and priorities. Coordinates the management of all work performed on tasks under the contract, including coordination with subcontractors, contracting offices, and client officials. Program management objectives include:

  • Create and implement efficient change management & configuration management policy and procedures

  • Provide industry and subject matter expertise, experience, and insight in the areas of systems administration, database administration, requirements analysis, application and user experience design, development and maintenance

  • Maintain active knowledge of current and emerging technologies and their potential impact on the CMES and Case Management Staff (CMS) applications

The Program Manager analyzes management, business, and technical issues related to program management and information systems.

  • Provides guidance on management processes and procedures, the business implications of various systems, and the technical considerations.

  • Collaborates on feasibility studies and systems planning.

  • Provides consulting on management concerns and priorities.

  • Devises and/or modifies procedures for managing complex programs.

  • Assists in research and development and presentation activities that may advance the users information knowledge base.

  • May have quality assurance and risk management responsibilities.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • 10 years of related experience

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Develop reports on program to submit to management; 2) Modify information in system to keep program information current and 3) Organize data to submit to management for decision making.
