Liberty Healthcare conducts assessments and needs-based eligibility determinations for North Carolinians who are applying for Medicaid-funded services. These assessments help individuals receive appropriate levels of home and community-based services.
Due to anticipated organizational growth and an expansion of services, Liberty is now hiring for a newly-created "Specialty Program Manager" position. This is a key leadership role which will enjoy the following responsibilities:
Providing quality oversight of statewide Pre-Admission Screening and Resident Reviews (PASRR) and Community Alternatives Programs
Leading a team of approximately twelve health and human services professionals who work remotely throughout NC
Ensuring client assessments that are conducted by team members are completed on time and with a high degree of quality and accuracy
Directing various performance improvement and quality assurance initiatives
Liaising with a wide array of internal and external stakeholders
Serving as a contributing member of the program's management team

You're a good fit for this position if you possess these attributes:
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or similar health and human services field
Successful track record leading health and human services professionals
Deep knowledge of PASRR screening and eligibility criterial for nursing home / long-term care
Expertise effectively assessing the needs of people who have serious mental illness and intellectual disabilities
Familiarity with the following areas is a plus: CMS / NC Medicaid, Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) waivers, Personal Care Services (PCS), Community Alternatives Program for Disabled Adults (CAP DA), and Community Alternatives Program for Children (CAP C).
