Responsible for general program oversight and the supervision of the STAR Case Managers and Recovery Specialists. Responsible for monitoring program outcomes, ensuring deliverables are met, and ensuring high-quality, effective services are delivered in a person-centered manner. The Program Supervisor will be responsible for case manager duties as needed, as well as provide services in the home and by telephone that ensure the individuals with OUD long-term recovery and help them to identify and access resources in the community that will help them achieve wellness and recovery goals. The Program Supervisor will participate in all required documentation and evaluation activities and assure that the STAR services are based on SAMHSAs Treatment Improvement Protocol (TIP) 27 Series Comprehensive Case Management for Substance Abuse Treatment and SAMHSAs Working Definition of Recovery Ten Guiding Principles of Recovery are met. Must provide 24/7 coverage on a rotating basis to achieve optimum flexibility and responsiveness to individuals.
Must possess an LPC, LCSW or other Masters or higher level clinical license.
Demonstrate evidence of working with the substance use disorder population and/or evidence of addiction coursework; supervisory experience, training, or coursework is highly recommended.
Valid NJ Drivers license, insurable by agency policy.
Travel is required between service area, use of own vehicle is required.
