Merakey is currently seeking Program Manager to join our Adult Behavioral Health Division in our Philadelphia, PA location.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.

  • To plan, direct and supervise the Residential Counselors/Direct Care Workers who provide individualized, flexible supports and services to residents with persistent and severe mental illness in Philadelphia County; and to evaluate and monitor the residents' progress, or lack thereof.

We are a team of pragmatic, action-oriented Project / Program Managers and Business Analysts who are focused on creating the right balance of client prioritization and product implementation. In a Program Manager capacity, you will work in the Client Implementation team helping us deliver programs and projects for our clientele across all product lines with a primary focus on the Eviti product line. You will be responsible for managing programs that deliver to client initiatives and manage projects through scoping to development to client delivery. You'll work in a collaborative environment with Project Managers, Account Managers, Product Managers and executive stakeholders at client and vendor/partner organizations and more. You will coordinate team communication, manage a cross-functional team, and ensure delivery of a variety of impactful revenue driven projects. Your role will be to work with the team and our customers to manage expectations and build/manage work plans in order to deliver upon agreed scope. The Basics * Able to define and execute roadmaps for client programs that interlace Client initiatives and Product deliverables * Manage multiple projects within a given program and any cross-project dependencies, risks and issues * Build relationship with client executives and internal stakeholders to manage escalations within the program * Develops and manages project plan, defining/documenting resources, skill requirements, and milestones per the client's contractual agreement * Able to effectively and appropriately define project scope, hours, deliverables and requirements * Uses a proactive rigorous risk identification and mitigation process on an ongoing basis * Ensures that risk considerations are incorporated into project schedules * Clearly communicates challenges/issues to clients by assessing causes and implications; recommends solutions, estimates costs, and encourages shared problem solving * Understands milestones affecting cash flow and revenue recognition, and effectively manages to them * Understands all financial elements of the contract, including fees, payment terms and any commitments which impact project financials * Ensures that terms and conditions and acceptance criteria are clear to all parties * Seeks technical reviews, second opinions, advice, and coaching in critical areas * Communicates effectively to internal management * Establishes a consistent communication strategy with the client and defines the associated deliverables (e.g. status report, risk report etc.) * Demonstrates project control to the client through effective project documentation, measurement, and reporting * Demonstrates the ability to organize, assign, track and follow up on issues across multiple work streams; manages resources to meet established deadlines or escalates in a timely fashion * Influences others that do not directly report to them; must possess strong inter-personal skills such as team building, consensus building, persuasiveness * Establishes a strong working relationship with the client, clearly understanding their requirements * Ability to quickly understand new technologies and concepts and appropriately apply them to projects * Undertake ad-hoc assignments as required to react quickly and positively to new or emergent situations * Gathers functional requirements including workflows, use cases, business rules and document them in a structured manner * Demonstrates sound internal project control through disciplined measurement, assessment, planning, and reporting * Assesses problem causes and implications; recommends solutions and costs, and encourages shared problem solving and demonstrates each of these, both internally and externally with the client * Mentor project managers and development of direct reports What You Bring * Requires 7+ years of project management experience leading projects and programs (collection of projects) for clients * Prior experience as part of a project management team (lead role with plan, resource and issue/change responsibilities) that successfully managed a full implementation life cycle * Ability to manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously * Experience with data analysis and identifying root causes to resolve client issues and prevent future occurrence * Demonstrated ability to interact with senior levels of leadership effectively and mentor junior staff * Excellent logic, verbal and analytical skills * Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint * Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience * Experience in clinical workflow, medical devices, meaningful use, EMR/EHR systems and systems integration is desirable * Knowledge of Oncology and Health Insurance (Payor) industry is desirable * PMP Certification (Preferred) * Travel – Up to 25%, depending upon nature of project and client location What We Bring * We offer competitive compensation, full benefits and some great perks.
