Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plans, drives and monitors the overall scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs.

  • Negotiates and prepares contracts by considering the financial conditions, resources, and contractual requirements.

  • Cross-company communication, coordination and governance for assign program/s.

  • Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments.

  • Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.

  • Acts as adviser to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.

  • Ability to identify program deficiencies and to create new processes / artifacts to address the root issue.

Essential Education, Experience, and Interests

  • Requires a bachelor's degree.

  • Typically reports to a department head.

  • Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.

  • True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.

  • Has full authority for personnel actions.

  • Typically requires 15+ years of professional experience, 5 years' experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 3+ years supervisory experience may be required.

  • Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.

  • 10+ Years in Healthcare IT

  • Demonstrated ability and proven program results

LOB Job Description: * The storage Service Manager is responsible for managing and delivering storage programs, projects, and tasks in support of the overall midrange storage strategy, organizing and facilitating cross-functional teams from Storage Operations, Engineering, and Product/Service Management. Responsibilities include: * - Organize and facilitate quarterly storage strategy offsite meetings (typically 2-3 days in duration). Organize meeting agenda and meeting logistics; facilitate meeting; take detailed notes; and ensure follow ups are identified, assigned, and followed through on * - Organize and facilitate monthly storage strategy update meetings (typically 2 hours in duration, held virtually).
