Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Plans, drives and monitors the overall scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs.
Negotiates and prepares contracts by considering the financial conditions, resources, and contractual requirements.
Cross-company communication, coordination and governance for assign program/s.
Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments.
Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.
Acts as adviser to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
Ability to identify program deficiencies and to create new processes / artifacts to address the root issue.
Essential Education, Experience, and Interests
Requires a bachelor's degree.
Typically reports to a department head.
Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
Has full authority for personnel actions.
Typically requires 15+ years of professional experience, 5 years' experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 3+ years supervisory experience may be required.
Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.
10+ Years in Healthcare IT
