The Program Manager will join our passionate and growing Marketing and Customer Experience team at Curriculum Associates to drive efficient development of large strategic communications projects and rollout of new brand standards across the company. Also, your experience will help us unlock new ways of working and enable us to develop methods for streamlining and improving internal work flows and processes.

The Program Manager will closely collaborate with marketing project owners, subject matter experts, design, and production teams as well as vendors and other key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing project life-cycles; experience coordinating in-house marketing and product teams, freelancers, and vendors; and working knowledge of best practices for project and resource management overall and including developing and delivering digital, print and video content. The Program Manager will support the gathering of requirements and inputs from company stakeholders, collaborate with subject matter experts to translate requirements into detailed scopes of work, and develop workflows and other tactics to deliver against agreed-upon plans.

The impact you'll have will include:

  • Owning the end-to-end schedule, from concept to deliverables, and continually tracking real vs. anticipated progress

  • Running status meetings for department-wide initiatives and for large, cross-functional project, setting the agenda and capturing key decisions, open issues, and follow ups

  • Staying on top of changes and key decisions on the project, keeping the team and key stakeholders informed through updates and the maintenance of our project documentation

  • Uncovering and troubleshooting problems, particularly issues involving the coordination of efforts across teams

  • Coordinating the work of our outside vendors and temporary employees for major projects, managing contracts and invoices and tracking against the budget

  • Ensuring the project is on schedule and escalating project issues and potential solutions to leadership

  • Streamlining and updating team workflows and processes related to strategic communications and maintaining an integrated marketing calendar

What we're looking for:

  • BA or BS, preferably in marketing, communications, or business degree

  • 5+ years of Marketing/Sales experience with extensive experience in project management and development of marketing communications materials or content

  • Someone who loves being a project manager, and is comfortable managing the thousands of details of a program, while also keeping the long view at all times

  • High proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS Power Point

  • Someone who is a solution-oriented, independent critical thinker

  • Someone who has the ability to:

  • Learn quickly and adapt to new/changing priorities

  • Foster and maintain a collaborative team dynamic

  • Solve problems, think critically and take initiative

  • Plan and organize

  • Communicate clearly, both by speaking directly and writing concisely

  • Negotiate and manage conflict

  • Experience delivering multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and a demonstrated record of previous achievement

  • A team player who works productively and cooperatively with a wide range of people

  • Experience in the Education field, particularly EdTech

The impact you'll have: * Ensure our field teams are prepared to support our educational partners around the country by maintaining our internal product reference and implementation support resources. * Create compelling educator-facing content to connect product features to benefits and help educators understand how product improvements drive gains for students. * Serve as a key point of contact for our field teams as they sell our products and support educators by answering questions or facilitating answers from experts around the organization. * Create key sales enablement collateral and maintain our library of product resources. * Help brainstorm and recommend improvements to our product launch and field enablement efforts. * Conduct data analysis and research to support team priorities. What we're looking for: * 1-2 years' experience in marketing, education, or related disciplines preferred. Previous internship or part-time work may apply. * BS/BA required * A degree in Marketing, Communications, Technical Communication/Writing Studies, Education, or other related discipline preferred * Strong oral and written communication skills. * Demonstrated effectiveness working cross-functionally and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders * Proficiency with presentation tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint * Proficiency with spreadsheet tools such as Microsoft Excel We'd also love to see: * Experience creating customer facing product documentation or support resources, particularly video content. * Experience using CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce. * Experience with web content creation tools (website and blog building tools, email marketing software, and video editing programs). * Experience as a K-8 classroom teacher and/or professional experience in educational technology.
