Program Execution

  • Develop strong working relationships with customer contacts within multiple business areas to ensure the needs of all stakeholders are met.

  • Responsible and accountable for program and project execution according to plan

  • Establish and analyze program profitability against targeted levels and identify causes for discrepancies and opportunities for improvement

  • Drive corrective action efforts that will result in increased profitability
  • Responsible for strategy creation for contingency planning and risk mitigation

  • Manage development of and implement resource plan, schedule, budget, risks analysis, and acceptance criteria

  • Track and report performance metrics, action items, issues and risks on a weekly basis. Establish and manage risk mitigation and issue resolution plans

  • Identify opportunities to fulfill customer requirements cost effectively and suggest alternative approaches where appropriate

  • Effectively record and publish meeting notes and action items.

  • Implement project documentation according to ISO and Logic PD documented requirements

  • Effectively escalate issues in a timely manner. Develop and manage return to green plans according to commitments.

  • Successfully execute to internal and external program reporting requirements

Cross Functional Support

  • Partner effectively with Vertical market teams and Sales to influence account strategies

  • Assist in identifying required customer information to ensure development of comprehensive and timely solutions- Suggest alternative approaches and solutions

  • Partner with Design and Engineering to ensure that the business is modeled for profitability

  • Work cross functionally within the manufacturing organization to oversee transfer of Design to Manufacturing activities to align with program objectives and assure quality manufacturing of products.

Process Improvement

  • Execute Voice of the Customer rating improvement activities

  • Author or create templates required for a project management

  • Proactively seeks opportunities for improvement in quality, process or profitability and develops and implements plans to achieve results

  • Develop and implement Project Management standards and training for the organization

  • Identify areas for internal improvement and develops plans for implementing them

  • Occasionally lead and contribute to strategic projects as assigned

  • Influence business strategies relevant to program management processes and goals

Requirements Requirements

  • BA, BS Degree in Engineering, or equivalent

  • 3+ years project/program management experience

  • Strong Program Management skills i.e. experience organizing multi-disciplined teams, managing customer expectations, and keeping projects on schedule and on budget.

  • Strong demonstration of successful use of EVM, and comprehension of project metrics

  • Expert user skills in Microsoft project

  • Strong business management skills e.g. negotiation skills, customer P&L management, etc.

  • Strong customer satisfaction attitude

  • Ability to lead and mentor first-class, multi-discipline manufacturing engineering and NPI teams.

  • Ability to lead or facilitate all DFX activities manufacturing, test, assembly, supply chain

  • Ability to manage all aspects of engineering prototype, quick-turn procurement, and builds.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; presentation skills

  • Able to prepare

and present compelling presentations to internal and customer senior executives

  • ERP and/or Configuration Management System experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Program Management experience in a Electronic Manufacturing Services environment

  • Professional certifications desired (PMP, SixSigma, EMS Program Management, etc.)

  • Experience with regulated markets (e.g. Medical, Aerospace)

  • New Product Introduction experience with multiple manufacturing facilities

  • Issue tracking system experience

You will develop and maintain specialized knowledge of program objectives, client requirements, and team dynamics to maximize effectiveness in growing the business. More specifically, as the PM, you lead or participate in project design (depending on the size and complexity of the opportunity) and write key sections of proposals, determine budget allocations, and liaise with program staff to ensure on time project implementation. You will drive program and business results through the guidance and support of field-based proposal development initiatives, including conducting capture trips, screening potential partners/ suppliers, and coordinating with technical and operational teams. Duties & Responsibilities: * Plan, implement and lead various projects within the larger program * Define project scope, goals (e.g., key performance indicators) and deliverables in accordance with overarching business strategies * Define tasks and required resources * Create projects schedules/timelines and track deliverables against milestones * Assemble and manage project team * Manage budget and allocation of project resources to ensure timelines and deliverables are met * Support and direct team members * Ensure quality assurance * Conduct stakeholder presentations reporting on progress as well as problems and solutions * Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs * Evaluate and assess project * Assist in the design of any new systems or processes that support business unit success * Follow up on open and pending contracts to ensure timely and accurate implementation * Assist in creating and updating SOPs (standard operating procedures) Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in business or related field * 4 or more years' experience leading projects/programs in a highly complex matrix organization * Demonstrated proficiency with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello, etc.) * Prior experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management * Demonstrated experience leading and driving programs to solve complex business operations challenges * Must be able to travel as required Preferred Qualifications: * Project Management Professional (PMP) certification * Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) * Prior experience in the fleet management industry or similar Element Fleet Management is the world's leading global fleet management company, providing world-class financial and management services for commercial fleets.
