Basic qualifications:

  • 3+ years in demand planning / supply planning or related decision sciences organization

  • B.S. in Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business or other related quantitative disciplines, MBA Preferred #CPM

Preferred qualifications include:

  • A driving passion for innovation and technology

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain concepts (Experience preferred) in Technology or Retail industry

  • Strong aptitude for analytic thinking and disciplined problem solving

  • Excellent communication skills & ability to collaborate across multiple organizations to move business forward.

  • Familiarity with forecasting and statistical concepts

  • Proven capabilities of exemplary impact through cross-group collaboration and partnerships

  • Own and maintain the Capacity Plan and associated parameters for Microsoft Azure Cloud Infrastructure

  • Serve as a functional expert in all aspects of capacity planning

  • Act as a key subject matter expert on Microsoft Azure products and related capacity planning parameters to partner engineering groups

  • Understand and incorporate risks to the capacity plan, and recommend mitigation strategies

  • Partner with business, operations, finance, and engineering to understand capacity requirements

  • Drive best practices in capacity and supply planning systems and processes, drive continuous improvement

  • Communicate to leadership the recommended capacity plan, including its underlying assumptions and strategic basis, upside and downside risk factors, and our plans for adapting to the unpredictable.

As a Senior New Product Introduction Program Manager (Sr. NPI PM), you are responsible for defining and scaling the hardware supply chain through the product development cycle to deliver new and innovative products on time, meeting the quality, volume and cost needs of the business. This role will be part of a product launch team accountable for leveraging supplier capabilities to meet business and product goals, through effective cross boundary collaboration. This is an individual contributor role. The Sr. NPI PM is a core team member of the product development lifecycle; from inception of an idea through delivering best in class supply chain solutions. This highly collaborative role leads and aligns a cross-functional, cross organizational teams to create, scale and execute the operational plan. Key partner organizations include: product development, sourcing, test, manufacturing operations, NPI engineering, customer care and demand planning. Individuals will be challenged to quickly establish credibility, learn and refine the launch process, seek out and prioritize information from subject matter experts and weigh potential solutions to obstacles associated with the delivery of program objectives. As such, you will be expected to have strong program management skills, have a desire to work at an extremely high bandwidth, be able to contribute to hardware products as they are brought to mass production at our offshore manufacturing facilities.
