As a member of the Learning & Development team, you will play a key role in building our culture of continuous learning by helping to develop a portfolio of internal and external leadership programs impacting individuals, teams and functions across the company. In this role you will help lead, design and implement leadership curriculum across all offices, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to establish ongoing programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the design and development of the curriculum for Lyft's people managers, to include program design and management

  • Support the creation of standardized metrics and evaluation processes across learning programs

  • Consult and assess individual, team and organizational learning needs, and help develop impactful and scalable learning opportunities (programmatic and non-programmatic)

  • Partner with HR Business Partners, senior leaders and functional training leads to specify learning needs, enabling comprehensive learning strategies

  • Design and run end-to-end program management of learning & development initiatives (in person, virtual, and on-demand) and processes based on learning strategies

  • Create, maintain and updated training materials, facilitator guides and all documents related to Learning & Development specifically for the manager development curriculum

  • Facilitate programmatic and custom design learning programs with consistently high facilitator ratings

  • Research industry based best practices to help benchmark current thinking and apply data driven approach to improve offerings

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Minimum qualifications:

  • Master's Degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of work experience in a related field (Learning & Development, Talent Management, Leadership Development)
  • Facilitation experience in both in-classroom and virtual environments

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5+ years instructional design/development and leading training efforts with direct experience creating and implementing learning programs and facilitating training sessions

  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships across diverse range of stakeholders and to work across boundaries to build infrastructure

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a passion for solving problems while being resourceful

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organizational capabilities

  • Coaching certification a plus
