Join the Cleveland Clinic team, where you will work alongside passionate caregivers and provide patient-first healthcare. Cleveland Clinic is recognized as one of the top hospitals in the country. At Cleveland Clinic, you will work alongside passionate and dedicated caregivers, receive endless support and appreciation, and build a rewarding career with one of the most respected healthcare organizations in the world.

This role will provide broad spectrum project support & analysis; clinical instrument & equipment inventory management optimization & standardization; monthly expense risk & opportunity analysis; and general supply chain liaison needs. A crucial emphasis for the first 6 - 18 months, depending on what's learned during discovery, is clinical instrument and equipment inventory optimization. Initial estimates would be 40% to 50% of the role during that time. This individual would be expected to play a significant role in the annual equipment & instrument budgeting and prioritization process, eventually leading that effort.

Over time, the portion of time allocated to inventory management would be reduced as the incumbent develops sustainable processes. The role will evolve - based on agreed-upon individual and team goals - to be similarly pivotal in other domains within HNE (examples include but not limited to physical space planning; support for emerging strategic planning efforts; re-imagining and driving the evolution of stagnant processes ID'd by operational leaders as priorities; and other opportunities that this individual uncovers organically as they become familiar with our operations.)

The individual should be deeply analytical, but equally able to be effective at understanding on-the-ground realities in clinical operations (i.e. data do not always tell the whole story.)

There is an expectation that the individual spends face time with stakeholders horizontally across the organization (examples include but not limited to nursing, supply chain, physicians, and regional operations leaders) and vertically within HNE and potentially ISI; they need to ensure that they can tailor the presentation of data appropriate to the audience, including taking granular data and distilling it into slides to inform and guide decision making. Some local travel to sites may be needed to be successful. They should be comfortable presenting to teams and confident to make strong, clear recommendations based on their work.

The evolution of the role will depend very much on the ambition of the individual who occupies it and their ability to see a much larger future opportunity for themselves, as a person, as well as the potential for their output and successes become best practice for other areas to potentially adopt.
