Program Manager - Internship

In this role, you will use your creativity to design and implement internship programs for a variety of students. You will report to the manager of internship programs and work closely with Customer Success, Anaplan on Anaplan, Academy, Community, and program area teams. You'll have the opportunity to work with leaders and colleagues to develop strategy, messaging and programming for talent-gap initiatives, events, and programs.


As a Program Manager, you are primarily responsible for the successful execution of graduate and undergraduate level internship programs, acting as the key contact for talent-building programs, handling and escalating any issues, providing status reporting to all stakeholders and ensuring program adoption. You will:

  • Manage innovative programs around various aspects of the talent development life cycle: Onboarding, Development and Networking and Placement

  • Proactively build and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across a range of businesses and geographies

  • Successfully manage complex, fast-moving and unexpected communications challenges

  • Participate in in-person and virtual event logistics including: session room allocation and agenda management, defining requirements for room set-up, AV and video, etc

  • Beautifully deliver in-person, virtual, and webinar training sessions

  • Build and distribute regular reports on project deliverables and status updates

  • Provide post-event reports and data focused on learning, quantifying ROI, and event success


To be successful in this role, you have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Mass Communications, HR, Marketing, or another related field

  • 5+ years program management, or related experience, preferably in a start-up or high-tech environment

  • Excellent communication and consensus building skills amongst technical and non-technical teams across multiple businesses; written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Ability to travel 25% is required
