ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Contribute to the planning and implementation of program goals, objectives, personnel, resources and equipment. Implement the approved program plan objectives, timetables, expected outcome and measures for assigned areas of responsibility.

Oversee the program's budget and policies regarding participant involvement, program requirements, and benefits. Work may involve directing counselors, clinical staff or other facility / clinic staff involved in the delivery of services through the program. Provides management and oversight for the facility program.

Organize, manage and coordinate all operational and administrative processes.

Develop and implement procedures to ensure efficient operations of the program; continually identify opportunities to improve program's efficiency; coordinate care delivery, work flow; oversee scheduling, registration, discharge and billing processes for the person(s) receiving services according to facility / clinic procedure.

Responsible for an assigned caseload if applicable to the program.

Support, teach and act as a program resource for other staff members.

Provide direct care relative to diagnosis and therapeutic management independently, using consultation where appropriate.

Monitor staff schedules to ensure that appropriate staffing levels are available to facilitate care in a timely manner.

Work closely with the lead clinical and non-clinical staff for the facility to provide a team approach to care.

Develop and implement treatment plans, develop and maintain and audit charts and records for person(s) receiving services.

Notify attending physician as required for non-routine care or other unusual medical circumstance.

Serves as liaison and provides consultation with other staff on related issues, regulations, and standards pertaining to area of clinical specialty.

Assists in the development and implementation of operating policies and procedures for the program or organization; ensures that procedures and workflow are consistent with organizational objectives, treatment protocol, regulations, and standards of care; ensures that operations conform to established environmental, safety, and infection control requirements.

As needed, provides outreach services in area of clinical specialty.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Masters degree in counseling or closely related field. Four or more years of experience working with the population of the facility/clinic, 1+ year of previous supervisory experience.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

Clinical license required (LCAS, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.) LCAS is preferred.

Valid driver's license.

CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES * Work with management to assemble project teams and work groups to produce deliverables required to achieve the objectives of a defined corporate program. Lead project managers and work group leaders in the development and maintenance of comprehensive plans for a defined corporate program. * Organize, direct and coordinate cross-functional activities to focus corporate resources on the successful delivery and implementation of the desired results for a defined corporate program and/or strategic initiative. * Work with the executive sponsor of a corporate program (VP or higher), and other management as required to achieve the objectives of a defined corporate program. Acquire detailed understanding of the business objectives for an assigned area. * Monitor and evaluate the progress, alignment and financial "health" of a cross-functional group of projects and related activities which together, constitutes a defined corporate program. Direct corrective action as needed to maintain the viability of the program. If required - Report to the executive team/sponsor/steering committee on the progress, business impacts and strategies around the program(s). * Assess risks that might jeopardize successful achievement of the desired results of a program, develop risk mitigation strategies and tactics, and implement risk mitigation plans. * As needed - Partners with procurement to develop and execute strategies related to the service/asset contracts. * As needed - Manages the vendor to the responsibilities outlined in the contract and statement of work. * Other duties as assigned or requested.
