Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 5 years of experience in program or project management.

• Experience with hardware manufacturing.

Preferred qualifications:

• MBA or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Operations Engineering or other relevant field.

• 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

• Knowledge of typical hardware Bill of Materials (BOMs), process documentation, and assembly and test processes.

As a New Product Introduction (NPI) Operations Program Manager, you will be the primary Operations/Supply Chain interface to the development and deployment teams with the responsibility for driving operations new product development as well as supporting those products through production ramp. You are well versed contract manufacturing environments and will lead programs to ensure products are designed and built to Google standards.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $139,000-$207,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex, cross-functional Program teams within Google and with external partners to prepare for production ramp and/or product transitions.

• Plan and execute operations development activities and ensure transition to production within cost, quality and capacity parameters. Ensure successful production transitions meet program goals.

• Manage ramp readiness with internal teams as well as external partners (i.e., material availability, cost/assembly/test/Bill of Materials/capacity readiness and transition plans).

• Drive cross-functional teams to optimize the supply chain for specific strategic reasons, while accounting for risks and changes in schedule or demand.
