Description
The Program Manager II, works with the Program Director and Senior Director to provide for overall management, supervision, and program development of the Region III Mobile Crisis Team. Ensures Region III Mobile Crisis Team meets productivity, budget, accreditation, and licensure requirements. Develops and maintains working relationships with individuals served, family members and/or care givers, other NRVCS programs, and other agencies working with MCT services. Provides direct services to individuals served.
Starting Salary: $80,325.52
$5,000 Sign on Bonus
Qualifications
Extensive knowledge and training in best practices for providing community-based crisis services for individuals with co-occurring developmental disabilities and behavioral health diagnoses residing in community settings.
Demonstrated ability to lead the work of teams and work effectively with other agencies.
Demonstrated knowledge of agency, state, and federal regulations and standards for REACH, including Medicaid and accreditation standards.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing and to prepare and present educational materials.
Must possess a valid driver's license (Virginia, unless otherwise approved by agency) and an acceptable driving record must be maintained throughout employment.
Must have an acceptable criminal history background and child protective services check upon hire and must be maintained throughout employment.
Must have acceptable drug screen results upon hire.
Education/Experience Required:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with at least a bachelor's degree in a Virginia DMAS approved human services field, current enrollment in a clinical licensure track Master's program, and at least 5 years of experience working directly with individuals with DD/MH diagnoses is required.
At least a master's degree in a human service-related field and at least two years of experience working with individuals with DD/MH is preferred.
At least 2 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
State of Virginia clinical behavioral health related professional licensure preferred.
If not Licensed, current registration with the Virginia Board of Counseling as a QMHP-A or QMHP-C is required.
