Job Purpose

The Project Manager is responsible for managing and leading projects with achieving financial, delivery, and customer satisfaction objectives across all phases of the project. This role will support both production and design and development projects with an emphasis on both short-term and long-term strategies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Execute and monitor project activities.

  • Regularly present program updates/status to high-level executives both internal and external to the organization.

  • Manage changes to scope, cost, and schedule of project work.

  • Coordinate priorities and resources between multiple projects.

  • Prepare and update project plans and status reports.

  • Provide updates on customer and corporate issues.

  • Participate in strategic business meetings to balance requirements across multiple customers.

  • Coordinate cross-functional meetings of personnel related to assigned project.

  • Cultivate a team-based culture leading to effective integrated product teams.

  • Facilitate sessions to resolve issues as they arise.

  • Utilize corporate processes to track project schedules, cost, and risk.

  • Report status, develop project-related documentation, and implement lessons learned.

  • Participate in project performance reviews and discussions.

  • Participate in corporate business development activities.

  • Update and maintain production and quality metrics of projects.

  • Up to 25% travel required.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ Years of Project Management / Program Management, Engineering, Government Contract Administration, or related experience

  • B.S. in Engineering, Business, or closely related discipline

  • Ability to read, write, and understand English and be comfortable presenting to audiences both virtually and in-person

  • Ability to examine requirements and understand the underlying request as it relates to the project

  • Experienced in mediation of conflict and finding win-win solution spaces for both internal and external stakeholders

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

Preferred

  • PMP certification
