Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in infrastructure operations, supply chain/operations, data center operations, manufacturing, or technology based business units.

  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

  • Experience with SAP, SQL, dashboarding, and advanced data analytics/statistical analysis.

  • Experience with cross-team (global, multicultural, and organizational) and functional capabilities in a fast-paced business environment.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Lean/six sigma training.

As the Data Center Operations Spare Parts Program Manager you will be responsible for developing, measuring, and managing the critical spare parts processes and systems in regards to reducing the risk of data center downtime, and improving the availability and cost of maintaining spares. In this role, you will drive projects currently in execution while developing new initiatives to improve critical spare part availability. You will also work to remove acute and systemic blockers to the program by collaborating with, and leading when necessary, our customers in the data centers and partner organizations. Our team and you will work closely with engineering, global commodity management, data center operations, supply chain, and logistics.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts during emergency recovery events to help operations identify, find, and receive spare parts for repairs.

  • Coordinate/lead project work between field and central operations, manufacturers, engineering, and administrative vendor groups to identify and create Google part numbers for unique critical spare parts.

  • Balance project data, analytics and stakeholder input, and use levers to improve project performance against expectations and milestones.

  • Establish aligned linkages to our supply chain partner teams in planning, procurement, global commodity management, and logistics to provide exceptional customer satisfaction. Work closely with site leaders, site teams, and cross-functional teams to identify gaps, make improvement recommendations, orchestrate change, and establish robust relationships.

  • Develop regional stocking strategy for new components and influence support from supply chain partners. Learn and understand all spares program tactical systems and processes.
