Our Faurecia Seating Division is looking for a Program Manager for its Headquarters location in Auburn Hills, MI.

You will be responsible for:

Owning the program in all aspects, from start of production. This role is the main supporter of customer satisfaction in conjunction with the achievement of program Quality, Cost and Delivery objectives, while ensuring profitability throughout the serial program lifecycle. The main missions of the role are to:

  • Develop positive relationships and maintain the relationship with the customer

  • Arbitrate any conflicts with the customer on financial and/or technical issues

  • Organize communications throughout the program lifecycle.

  • Lead and oversee a cross-functional program team (Sales, Controlling, Purchasing, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, Product & Process engineering), and define team members' objectives and assignments for a program

  • Liaise with the Program Controller, build the initial Business Plan, define the Program investment scheme, and release investments in compliance with controlling procedures; take economical responsibility for all deviations from initial requirements.

  • Create a "Program Management culture" by ensuring processes defined in the Faurecia Program Management System (PMS) are applied at all steps, and by developing alignments between all actors involved in the program.

  • Manage all planning and executing of VA/VE activities. Conduct Risk/Opportunity analyses, and develop and implement appropriate action plans.

  • Support all VA/VE and engineering change management activities

  • Monitor the Program and Model Year Launches: track progress by updating Business Plan, Program Dashboard and Budget Reports, and by leading reviews of program steps and results

  • Ensure smooth program transfer from corporate to Production Plant

  • 5-10 years experience in automotive Program Management, preferably in Seating

  • Ability to maintain customer relations with supply base, Tier 1 and OEMs at senior levels

  • Knowledge of Program Management system and tools

  • Results orientation with strong written and oral communications skills

  • Strategic thinking and technical capacities

  • International mind set

Our mission is to provide innovative technology solutions, quality software, and expert service and support for Michigan's courts. JIS has been helping courts modernize and streamline their processes for over 30 years and we have recently started accelerating our efforts to make an even greater impact, from case management and e-filing to video conferencing, data warehousing and providing online transaction options. Every day, our work makes a significant positive impact by helping the courts administer justice quickly and effectively. We are looking for a qualified Program Manager who is responsible for the execution of several, simultaneous large technology implementation and organizational change projects. The Manager develops and implements program implementation strategies, forms and staffs project teams by identifying project team needs, determining roles, and responsibilities, and working with HR to staff the project. The position is accountable for the overall program budget and manages the overall program project plan. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential duties and responsibilities center around strategy, resource allocation, planning, communication, budget, continuous improvement, and governance, which include, but are not limited to the following: * Lead designated staff including determining human resource needs, recruiting highly qualified staff, determining staff development needs and providing development resources, performance communication planning, recognition, compensation and discipline; * Develop concise Performance Communication Plans (PCP) for direct reports. Meet with staff regarding plans at an appropriate frequency and document those meetings; * Identify and staff project teams required to complete the program. Ensure teams have the tools an resources required to complete the project; * Develop and oversees the overall program plan (may be a related collection of project plans). Ensures that project teams have detailed project plans that lead to the successfully completion of the program. Ensures program execution against project plans; * Define program governance controls and key performance indicators (metrics). Accountable for risk management of the program including risk assessment and mitigation planning; * Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout the programs life cycle and report to SCAO leadership the progress of individual projects and overall program updates. * Monitor and approve all budgeted program expenditures. Manage program finances accurately across all projects, by creating cost spreadsheets and estimates and ensure that program and project expenses are within budget estimates. Required Education and Experience MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field OR related college level education less than a degree and at least eight years of progressively responsible project and / or product management experience. EXPERIENCE * Five years of progressively responsible program and project management experience managing large scale software system migrations or implementations; * Two years of program management experience; * Scoping of projects estimating financial and physical resources and time to complete projects; * Cost benefit analysis of information technology projects; * Leading teams of people in a matrix organization. KNOWLEDGE * Project management methodology; * Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications and Project Management tools. LICENSING / PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION * Program or Project Management Professional (PgMP / PMP) certification preferred * Lean or Six Sigma certifications preferred * Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred? ABILITY * Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; * Proven leadership, project management, time management, and problem solving skills; * Client-focused mentality; * Ability to present technical and non-technical information to all stakeholder groups; * Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while remaining focused on service to the client.
