Program Manager

ECS is seeking a Program Manager to work in our Arlington, VA office.

Job Description:

Provide Programmatic Management oversight of team.

Duties includes direct oversite of ECS personnel, subcontract / subcontractor task order management, cost projections, fund distribution and purchase requests, recruiting, monthly / quarterly reports, invoice approval / processing, direct interaction with contracting officer, and contractor officer representative (COR), regarding contract execution, modifications, personnel support levels / requirements, and funding.

Develop overarching and strategic vision and drive team to achieving these goals.

Required Skills:

• Active DoD Secret clearance (US Citizenship Required per contract)

• 5 + years Experience managing people and programs.

• Provide senior-level insight and business experience in order to track and manage program costs. Must be able to examine for potential efficiencies.

• Comprehension of contract deliverables such as Cost Data Monthly and Quarterly Contract Funds Status Reports.

• Experience with Business Development and growing the work.

• Ability to manage product schedule time lines and adjust accordingly.

• Experience with recruiting and filling purple unicorn positions.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Must have a professional image, proactive approach, and commitment to achieve individual, team and company goals are also positive attributes. Applicant should also have sharp analytical and research skills as well as provide exceptional customer service.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, and Outlook is also required.

Desired Skills:

• Prior experience supporting DARPA, NAVSEA, and/or DoD R&D efforts.
