The Program Manager of Diversity and Leadership Recruiting will be responsible for advancing the diversity recruitment strategy by identifying and building diverse leadership pipelines across Liberty Mutual. This position will work closely with the executive recruiting team, and the Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) team to create and implement a diversity recruitment strategy for executive talent pipelines, and leverage internal and external partnerships to help drive diversity recruitment.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop diverse executive candidate pools across the enterprise for both active and future needs.

  • Ensure that our talent attraction strategies are effective and that we have specific attraction strategies for women and people of color.

  • Source potential and passive candidates through direct channels, social media, internet sourcing, extensive name generation research and relationship building.

  • Expand network and prospect pipelines through leveraging user groups, blogs and networking events.

  • Build and expand stronger relationships with external diverse professional organizations by regularly attending and supporting various events and conferences.

  • Collaborate with outside network of diversity & inclusion professionals to identify best practices in sourcing diverse talent.

  • Build and maintain partnerships with employee resource groups, external diversity partners, or other recruitment sources to identify best practices in sourcing diverse talent.

  • Identify and manage a portfolio of executive level roles, critical to the business, and ensure that Liberty Mutual has a ready-now pipeline of diverse executive leaders both internally and externally.

  • Create talent mapping in support of succession planning activities, maintaining a pipeline of top diverse executive talent.

  • Partner with Talent Analytics to create and track diversity recruitment metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

  • Conduct research and benchmarking on diversity recruitment best practices and emerging trends and apply to enhance recruiting and sourcing effectiveness.

  • Develop and manage key external partnerships and suppliers that provide access to diverse talent pools.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree is required in addition to 7+ years of progressive diversity and inclusion and/or talent experience.

  • Demonstrated experience integrating diversity and inclusion and understanding of unconscious bias in the recruiting process is highly preferred.

  • Prior experience in developing targeted diversity recruiting strategies and implementing global approaches preferred as well.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with varied audience is required, in addition to knowledge of web-based applicant tracking or candidate relationship management systems.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management skills strongly preferred.
