You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). You must be certified as a Career Field Facilities Engineering Level II. Certification is required within 24 months of appointment.
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Conducting analytical studies of programs to identify deficiencies and recommend corrective action; 2) Providing oversight on completing project/program management (i.e. managing resources, personnel staffing requirements, training requirements, and schedules) to meet the command's mission; 3) Assessing program execution (i.e. identifying risks, developing mitigation strategies and fallback plans, resolving technical issues, etc.) to create a more efficient program; 4) Implementing programs throughout a delivery system to ensure program objectives are communicated, supported, and achieved; and 5) Managing programs including Infrastructure Condition Assessment Program/Condition-Based Maintenance Program, Maximo or similar programs. .
