Amazon Logistics is looking for a passionate and talented Program Manager to manage new programs supporting on road delivery operations. This role will be responsible for creating, improving and implementing field programs supporting driver hiring at stations. They will develop scalable process improvements and work directly with stations to coordinate driver hiring events. They will develop strategies to leverage existing marketing and community groups to build new driver hiring programs for hard to hire sites. This role will effectively move between strategy and execution on a daily basis as we iterate and innovate the driver hiring and training process. The role will influence and drive various functional teams and individuals at all levels of the organization and possess a high level or autonomy and integrity while managing a variety of priorities.

This role does include travel of 25% primarily supporting in station events.

The candidate will have a talent and passion for building new programs and processes within the company along with a relentless desire to exceed customers' expectations while optimizing the overall cost-per-delivery model. The candidate will have a strong bias for action, strategic planning skills, quantitative analysis, and the ability to organize and deliver new initiatives involving leadership across cross-functional operations, software development, business, and external contracting teams is essential. This position will include regular direct communications with senior leaders, product teams and support teams across the organization.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating field hiring events with operations, DSP providers, and marketing partners.

  • Driving standardization, businesses processes, and reporting with delivery operations in partnership with support partners

  • Forming cross-functional project teams, planning and organizing, managing, and executing complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders

  • Innovating for improvement in safety, quality, and cost metrics

Description Event Services Manager REPORTS TO: Director of Sales & Director of Visitor Experience DEPARTMENT: Sales & Visitor Experience CLASSIFICATION: Exempt LAST UPDATED: October 7, 2019 OVERVIEW The Visit Bellevue Event Services Manager is responsible for the implementation of the Visit Bellevue event services plan including client relations, event consultation, maximization of events, attendee experience, event logistics, service lead management, attendee / event communications, post event services and driving the desire to attend events in Bellevue. The Event Services Manager for Visit Bellevue is generally a Monday through Friday position. At times, the Event Services Manager may be required to work evenings, weekends and/or holidays. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES * Develop and establish positive working relationships and ongoing support with our clients of events that are booked and planning future events in Bellevue. * Manage a streamlined and timely transition from Visit Bellevue sales to event services. Explore digital mobile app integrations for meetings and conventions. Build and deliver content for digital activation. * Work with Visitor Experience to activate on-site concierge to be made available and provided to groups. This includes visitor information, personal assistance and volunteer program including community awareness / welcome program – signage and way-finding materials as needed. * Coordinate event attendee engagement. * Update convention details to partners / stakeholders so they are well informed and connected via Partner Extranet. Prepare and provide post-event report including actualized attendance, actualized revenues, actualized room nights and actualized economic impact. * Provide meaningful referrals to sales managers as they become available. * Have regular Event Manager meetings with Meydenbauer Center to insure timely and accurate communication and details. * Assist the Convention Sales Team with tradeshow preparations, amenity assembly and distribution, and site inspection preparations.
