Position Objective:

The Program Manager Customer Relationship Management (CRM) will drive the strategy and execution for CRM at Pekin Insurance. This position will be responsible for creating and executing a CRM strategy for the organization and driving the IT parts of it. They will work with multiple areas of the company to develop and align the CRM strategy to the business strategies and goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan the delivery of the overall program and its activities in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organization

  • Develop new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the organization

  • Develop and implement long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of each program

  • Develop a program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the program and to identify areas for improvement

  • Ensure that program activities operate within the policies and procedures of the organization

  • Ensure that program activities comply with all relevant legislation and professional standards

  • Develop required processes, forms and records to document program activities

  • In consultation with the IT Leadership, recruit, interview and select well-qualified program staff

  • Implement the human resources policies, procedures and practices of the organization

  • Ensure all staff members receive orientation and appropriate training in accordance with organizational standards

  • Supervise program staff by providing direction, input and feedback

  • Communicate with clients and other stakeholders to set expectations for delivery and gain community support for the program and to solicit input to improve the program

  • Liaise with other managers to optimize resource utilization as to ensure effective and efficient program delivery

  • Coordinate the prioritization and delivery of services among different program activities to increase effectiveness and efficiency

  • Construct and deliver reports on the programs for IT Management and Program Sponsors

  • Ensure that the program monitors all budgeted expenditures and operates within the approved budget

  • Ensure that the programs establish and meet delivery schedules

  • Ensure that all financial records for the program are up to date

  • Report evaluation findings to the CIO, AVP and IT Director recommending changes to enhance the program, as appropriate

  • Cultivate and enhance relationships with the Business leadership to identify and understand customer experience and SalesForce related expectations and build value for Pekin Insurance

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Exceptional People Management skills

  • Knowledge of computer application use

  • Extensive knowledge of principles and practices of project

  • Program and portfolio management

  • Proven ability to build relationships with business partners

  • Good communication skills both written and verbal

  • Able to understand and focus on client needs

  • Well organized with the ability to develop a plan of action and the skills to put it into practice.

  • SalesForce experience required

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or similar degree or related professional experience
  • 4+ years of Program Management or similar experience
  • 2+ years of managing a team of Project Managers

Working Conditions:

  • Will work in a normal office environment with moderate noise levels

  • On-going training and education will be required

Position Objective: The Senior Program Manager – Data Science will drive the strategy and execution for the data science practice at Pekin Insurance. This position will be responsible for creating and executing data science strategies for the organization. They will work with multiple areas of the company to develop and align the business needs to the IT solutions and data decisions. Responsibilities: * Identify and collaborate with key stakeholders at Pekin Insurance to layout the data science strategies * Collaborate with various business units, lines of business, and departments to develop and align the data science architecture patterns * Develop, own and deliver a data science program * Lead regular interactions with executive sponsors to inform, alert, negotiate, and maintain a good relationship and shared vision for the program outcome * Establish and ensure appropriate governance functions for the programs in accordance with enterprise policies, practices, and on behalf of the executive sponsor or SRO (senior responsible owner) * Direct the creation and maintenance of the required program documentation and artifacts * Develop and control the program budget, managing expenditure within agreed spending plans * Ensure and balance the availability of the required skills and competencies across project teams within the program * Lead reviews with executive sponsor and stakeholders to identify organic or specific program needs and/or changes, and directs the development of appropriate approaches to address * Lead the development and maintenance of stakeholder mapping, communications, and reporting * Act as an advisor, building and maintaining relationships across the wider stakeholder community * Lead the oversight of program projects' execution, their progress compared with the plan, and the production of agreed deliverables * Monitor and coordinate dependencies across the projects in the program and resolves conflicts * Direct or approve the establishment of framework/guidelines for the use of contractors and professional service providers, and determines their use across the program * Support and facilitate agenda setting for program committee/board meetings * Perform additional duties as assigned Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: * Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop and communicate the program objectives, inspire and motivate staff, and maintain alignment with the business strategy. * Possesses a high degree of political sensitivity, astuteness and the ability to effectively use the informal power structure of the organization to achieve success and clear obstacles for the program. * Highly empathetic and able to vary styles of interaction to match the needs of a variety of temperaments and personalities. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain and "sell" the program goals and objectives to the business, as well as technical leadership. * Strong business acumen, including industry, domain-specific knowledge of the enterprise and its business units. Familiar with industry trends and innovation. * Effective influencing and negotiation experience and skills in an environment with high competition for resources. * Excellent analytical, strategic planning and execution skills. * Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver against financial and resource constraints. * Experience with Agile project management. * Knowledge of Agile project planning tools. * Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies, how other enterprises are employing them to drive CRM, and how they may be applied to the enterprise to drive it.
