We are looking to bring on a Program Manager, Commercial Structures to manage a team of intermediate or experienced professionals across multiple functions managing small to medium-sized programs or a single program.

The programs in question will be specific to commercial aircraft doors (pax, service, cargo, etc.). You will develop and implement strategic planning efforts, prepare progress reports and value-stream strategies. You will also recommend solutions for program problems, be accountable for profit and loss, manage multiple vendors and support contract negotiations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead small to medium sized programs or a single program to ensure adherence to program plans, schedules, and budgets for programs under his/her responsibility.

  • Accountable for the P& L of the program to ensure profitability targets are met, and manages a select amount of vendors.

  • Maintain milestones, program plans, schedules and budgets for programs to ensure that the organization's objectives are met.

  • Prepare plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the program(s), and manages value-stream strategy and progress.

  • Monitor strategic planning efforts for moderate and/or difficult programs.

  • Identify potential problems and recommend solutions, such as allocation of resources, changing contractual specifications, and coordinating responses to customer action items.

  • Support the development of new business growth strategies.

  • Support the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes, including coordinating preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements, operation budgets, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts to ensure legal compliance and to protect the organization's interests.

  • Direct all program phases from inception through completion.

  • Interface with customers for project specifications to ensure successful completion.

  • Manage the contract life-cycle, cost, schedule and performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.

  • Coordinate the negotiation, proposals, business plans, budgets and contracts for programs.

  • Establish cost focused performance targets and directs work to achieve these targets.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience OR
  • Advance degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required

Basic Qualifications

  • Program Management experience

  • Demonstrated the ability to lead, support and mentor individual team members

  • Able to work in a highly matrixed environment

  • MS Office experience

  • Earned-Value principles

  • Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications

  • Aerospace experience (commercial doors)

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience with MS Project
