The Program Manager
This role necessitates valid clinical licensure as it involves a high degree of clinical expertise and direct interaction with health plans and systems which is instrumental in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our behavioral health clinical operations.

Our ideal candidate will live within a reasonable proximity to one of the above Elevance Health major office locations.
Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy, providing various levels of flexibility while also ensuring that associates have opportunities to connect in-person. Unless in a designated virtual-eligible role and specified as primarily virtual by the hiring manager, associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week. Specific requirements and expectations for time onsite will be discussed as part of the hiring process.

How You Will Make an Impact
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Manages and coordinates the development, approval, implementation, and compliance of on-going external client facing programs and initiatives.
Develops program budgets.
Ensures program meets its stated objectives.
Provides subject matter expertise in response to day-to-day external client facing business issues.
Research's applicable subject matter practices and remains aware of industry trends.
Manages external client facing relationships and partners with corporate and regional business areas.
Coordinates training related to external client facing program, develops program success measures, and performs periodic assessments of program success.
Travel for meetings at other locations may be required about once (1) a quarter.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a MA/MS/MSW, independent clinical licensure (LMHC, LISCW, LMFT) and a minimum of 5 years external client facing experience in program/project management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Candidates are required to be actively licensed (LMHC, LISCW, or LMFT) and domiciled in either Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, or Connecticut.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
Possesses 2-3 years of State of Massachusetts market knowledge (i.e. exposure with MA specific behavioral health agencies and/or inpatient facilities doing direct care with clients or members).
Understands the Accountable Care Organization (ACO) structure for Medicaid/MassHealth members.
Domiciled and licensed in Massachusetts strongly preferred.
