Our primary focus is on quality and customer satisfaction. We are ITAR compliant and welcome FMF contracts and pass-through procurement for U.S. origin products.

CATS 90,000 square foot modern facility is in Central Florida, minutes from Orlando International Airport. Our facility includes a spacious office area, five production clean rooms, high-bay area and ERP integrated warehouse.

Job Summary

The Program Manager role with this defense contract manufacturing organization manages all cost, schedule, and technical performance of assigned programs. The Program Manager will coordinate program efforts across all functional areas including engineering, procurement, production, quality, facility security, contracts, finance, and warehouse. The Program Manager will be the liaison between the customer and the organization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Analyze and understand contractual requirements for manufacture of assemblies & subassemblies.

  • Ensure compliance with all contract provisions and mitigation of risks including engineering, quality, manufacturability, supply chain, acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, customer service and warranty.

  • Ensure master plans and schedules are followed and product is manufactured to contract specifications and delivered on time with zero defects.

  • Develop solutions to program challenges, and direct functional areas for successful completion of project on time and on budget.

  • Develop and maintain robust ethical relationships with all stakeholders.

  • Participate in supplier quality surveys and supplier performance rating reporting.

  • Participate in proposal development process and business development.

  • Work with planning, procurement, production, engineering, quality, and finance to ensure integrity of ERP system transactions.

  • Prepare, report, and communicate program issues, concerns, and performance metrics to management on a weekly and monthly basis.

  • Participate in continual process improvement focusing on program management areas.

  • Evolve and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for program management and planning processes and systems.

  • This position is subject to change at the discretion of management and additional duties may be applied.

  • Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A

Education and/or Experience

  • Four-year degree in related discipline.

  • Minimum 3-5 years in Program Management is required.

  • PMP, FARS and DFARS a plus

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications software & databases.

  • Defense industry experience is a plus.

Basic Employment Requirements

  • Comply with all federal, state, and local laws and export/import regulations.

  • Knowledge of ERP system flow in manufacturing environment.

  • Requires above average written and verbal communication skills and inter-personal skills with an ability to understand define and communicate issues in a clear and concise manner.

  • Must be focused and pay high attention to detail.

  • Must be US citizen authorized to work in the US, eligible to obtain a passport and security clearance.

  • Must pass Security background screening process.
