What you will do
Leveraging your extensive, hands-on project management experience and knowledge of finance processes (OneStream/HFM implementations), you will manage a large program or multiple smaller programs including the project budget. You will own all aspects of assigned projects and/or Programs and will be responsible for directing project managers in support of their assigned major strategic programs. You will work collaboratively to define and resource the correct roles to deliver specified goals on assigned programs or projects. You will monitor and report on the overall status of programs and guide/mentor your project teams and others in the overall organization in the use of the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) methodology, best practices, and tools.
How you will do it
Manage the overall planning, execution, and delivery of the program.
Direct work/projects, control cost/schedule elements, management of resources, communications management, reporting, and change management.
Be responsible for fiscal year planning related to programs.
Deliver programs on schedule, budget, and per the specification.
Develop Requests for Proposals (RFP) for external services.
Initiate, plan, execute, and close all program deliverables as committed.
Responsible for full life-cycle of programs from initiation to completion.
Establish, maintain and explain the program methodology, procedures, and policies, consistently within the EPMO rules and guidelines.
Support the vendor selection and management process (scope, plan, and milestone definition, operational issues, deliverable & milestone approval, quality control, etc.). Manage vendor administration (SOW activation, PCRs authorization, invoice approval).
Drive program planning and control from an operational point of view (activity, milestones and resource planning), with a special focus on core activities and global plan consolidation.
Apply relevant project standards to build project management frameworks for all projects within program.
Monitor the progress of program components to ensure the overall goals, schedules, budget, and benefits of the program will be achieved.
Ensure that projects are organized and executed in a consistent manner within established corporate standards and tools.
Fully responsible for program delivery and success.
Provide coaching and mentoring to individual Project Managers to drive the maturity of the overall EPMO.
Manage EPMO team members in a matrix organization. S/he will have responsibility for managing contract PM resources.
What we look for
Bachelor's degree in IT-related field
8+ years Program Management experience in a large multi-unit organization
3+ years supervisory experience overseeing large scale projects, global teams, project managers, application leads
Advanced program management skills in complex IS and business environments, including ability to coordinate multiple teams in various locations and time zones
Deep project management experience managing large-scale, global implementations
Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools
Passion for leading teams and implementing change
Demonstrated leadership skills
Strong negotiation and team-building skills with the ability to create consensus around decisions and mitigate conflicts among different teams
High communication skills required at all levels. Must be able to interact and impact senior leadership
Excellent command of verbal and written communication (English)
Effective presentation style for all levels of stakeholders
Strong problem solving, decision making, issue analysis and resolution skills. Highly organized.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities with internal clients
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, multicultural global work environment
Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities with internal clients
Ability to gather and address both business and technical requirements. Must be highly motivated.
Advance degree in IT related field or MBA
Experience with HFM or OneStream implementations
Experience with global and corporate financial processes including tax and treasury
Experience with large ERP transformations
Project Management Accreditation (APMP, PMI, Prince 2 or equivalent)
