About the role

As part of the Business Development Team, your main focus will be on managing relationships with our existing and new pharma clients to establish clinical trial collaborations, as well as leading talks with hospital systems for the deployment of monitoring technologies. You will serve as Empaticas direct interface with some of the most trusted R&D companies in the field, representing the company at every step of the process in proposing and brokering new projects. These projects are highly innovative, and often the first time such technologies are used for clinical research.

In addition, working together with other Program Managers, you will:

  • Scout new opportunities to deploy and develop digital biomarkers in clinical research and clinical practice.
  • Identify, screen and qualify new customer partnerships and opportunities.
  • Ensure that our customers have the right understanding of our products and technologies.
  • Be an attentive observer, capable of detecting obstacles in partnership development, that might affect its success, and report them to the Management Team.
  • Coordinate requirements with the engineering and data science teams, in order to achieve our partners goals.
  • Liaise with Sales, Marketing, and Management to align business strategies.
  • Represent Empatica among its highest-tier research and business clients.
  • Make sure that all the backend operations that support Empaticas execution are properly handled.

  • Must have a firm sense of accountability and must be good at prioritization
  • Have a pragmatic and execution mindset
  • Are able to work as a team member or by yourself
  • Have a passion for Empaticas products and mission
  • Have resilience, a get-things-done attitude, and an innate desire to do great work
