Mission

The Bill.com Program Manager will be responsible for extending our leadership position in the marketplace by delivering a successful solution to our financial institutions and growing successful bank partner relationships.

The Program Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end relationship with select financial institutions through proposal, planning, implementation, launch and ongoing customer adoption.

The incumbent will also ensure that across the company, Bill.com cross-functional groups are aligned to support the objectives of the implementation. These cross-functional groups include: Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, Risk, Operations, Compliance and Finance.

The Bill.com Program Manager will also be responsible for key strategic corporate initiatives that span the same cross-functional groups.

The incumbent will be successful by connecting with key business executives and stakeholders on a thoughtful and regular basis. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for establishing consistent and comprehensive partnership reviews which align both organizations on drivers for success.

Due to the executive level interactions that are core to this position, this requires proven experience in a client-facing role, preferably with large enterprises and within the financial services arena.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs against experience and time to market

  • Drive business, product, engineering and integration decisions and timelines across multiple teams and organizations

  • Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team's ability to meet business and technology goals

  • Establish business processes and policies, as well as metrics and indicators for success

  • Communicate regularly with senior management on progress, risks and plans

Professional Experience / Background To Be Successful In This Role

  • 5+ years of program management experience

  • 3-5 years experience in a consulting role with a large, multinational firm preferred

  • 5+ years of experience managing complex partner relationships that involve co-development and launch of new products and services in financial services or an adjacent industry.

  • Experience managing multi quarter/multi year cross functional strategic initiatives

  • Exceptional decision-making and prioritization skills, conflict resolution, community building, and follow through.

  • Excellent professional relationship-building, leadership, planning, management, communication, and presentation skills. Excellent attention to detail and formal corporate presentation building skills.

  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional verbal and written communication

  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment with multiple sprint teams delivering into production

  • Demonstrated track record as a team player that can effectively motivate cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals

  • Willingness to get into the details and track deliverables while staying focused on the partner's overarching strategy

  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, lean and collaborative environment

  • Ability to quickly assess a project and provide guidance and leadership

  • Technical acumen and ability to quickly pick up concepts across a broad range of topics such as SSO, MFA, infrastructure and ask the right questions to uncover risks and issues

  • Operate with little oversight, being both an executor and strategic thinker
