The Program Manager will be the main point-of-contact and responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction in partnership with our Business Unit Managers and Leaders. You will interface with customers, including assigned key accounts, as well as AvtechTyee senior staff, TransDigm executive leadership, and related parties daily and support the organizations priorities for new business projects and tracks progress.
In this Role, you will be responsible for:
Act as customer advocate within AvtechTyee
Coordinate interdependent projects that are part of the program
Measure and Monitor KPIs and ROI
Conduct and/or coordinate program kickoff and Design Reviews
Facilitate on-time achievement of program milestones
Report program performance to executive team and organization leaders
Ensure collaboration and strong communication among team members from all departments
Function as program information conduit to/from customer
Responsible for customer buy-off
Assist in negotiations of T&C's of contract
Monitor program for unauthorized deviations
Negotiate specification deviations and compliance
Participate in proposals and sales activities as required
Participate in other sales and marketing activities as required
Actively contribute and execute ideas for process improvements and cost savings
Presents a competent and composed demeanor, representing the company with professionalism to all stakeholders (including but not limited to applicants, employees, contractors, vendors, and customers) to successfully advance the interests of the company
What you'll Need to Succeed:
Bachelor's Degree in Related field, MBA preferred
Five years of sales or engineering experience with a broad knowledge of Aerospace industry
Proven experience as a Program Manager or other managerial position
Knowledge of high-tech sales, marketing and engineering practices and principles, as well as general business contracts and legal pitfalls
Nice to have, but not necessary:
Knowledge and experience in a professional business environment
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Outstanding interpersonal relationship skills
Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
Strong focus and attention to detail
Time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and multi-task in a complex business environment

Ability to quickly master new business knowledge and technical skills
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
This position requires either a US Person (as defined in applicable export regulations) or a non-US person who is eligible to obtain required export authorization
The target wage/salary range for this role is $120k - $140K, depending on education and experience.
