Under the direction and supervision of the Vice President of Administrative Services, the Program Manager
As the Program Manager
Employee Type: Full Time Exempt, Permanent
Initial Salary: $83,000.00 annually, inclusive of 5% King County Premium Pay (KCPP)
Supervising Position: Vice President of Administrative Services
Essential Duties
Project Management:
Provides active and direct leadership to the college team during audits.
Acts as the liaison between the auditor and the college team.
Plans/schedules activities of the college project team to ensure compliance in all areas and addresses deficient areas.
Manage the day-to-day adherence to schedule; provides updates on requested data.
Collaborates with the project team and partner departments to review policy, procedures and other operational plans/actions
Schedules and facilitates college specific project-related team meetings.
Escalates critical issues to college leadership to prompt corrective actions.
Prepares status reports on the progress and issues impacting implementation tasks.
Change Management:
Builds and maintains working relationship with all departments on campus, client and members of assigned project team.
Aligns the project's plan objective; coordinates change, ensures support, monitors productivity, minimizes disruption and manages risks with the campus.
Ensures Organizational Change Management (OCM) activities regarding major process changes are effectively communicated and coordinated across campus.
Works with college Communications Coordinator to ensure stakeholder readiness communications are sent with proper timing to support organizational change activities.
Project Analysis:
Collaborates with stakeholders to discover and document existing processes so they can be aligned to support audit requirements and provide validation of process.
Implement processes and procedures where none exists, by collaborating with the department Directors and staff.
Performs other related duties of a similar nature or level as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution OR combination of education and equivalent work experience.
Two years of experience managing organizational change and implementing complex projects.
Excellent organization, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams in multiple projects.
Highly detail oriented and dedicated problem solver.
Demonstrated commitment to and interest in diversity, equity and inclusion and the ability to support a multicultural workplace and educational environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ORACLE, ctclink, Peoplesoft.
Systems or business analyst experience.
Ability to successfully communicate (written and orally) in a language in addition to English.
Physical Work Environment
Semi-Sedentary Work: Involves staying in a stationary position to a significant degree. Jobs are sedentary if moving is required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
The College is currently in hybrid operations, with many assignments completed in an online environment during this time. Full-time employees are expected to be on-campus at least three (3) days per week with the option to work remotely for the remainder of their working days. Employees will need to provide their own remote workspace and internet access, noting the College will provide technical equipment and support for online work needs. During on-campus operations, this position will perform work in a standard office setting, use standard office equipment and physically attend meetings both on and off campus and requires the ability to communicate in person or through appropriate means.
Positions in this class typically require operating a computer, communicating, observing, and repetitive motions.
This position involves exerting between 10-30 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to transport, put, install, remove, or otherwise move objects, with or without reasonable accommodation.
