The Assurance and Advisory (A&A) team's mission is to call attention to risks, drive process improvement, cost reductions and compliance. The team partners with business and functional areas to accomplish its mission and execute strategies.
Tesla is seeking an experienced senior to lead and execute projects across the organization's functional and operational processes. This position is responsible for leading complex activities associated with completing reviews, as well as performing projects to provide recommendations on standardizing controls within manufacturing environment. This position will participate in planning and conducting financial and operational reviews.
Independently plan, perform, evaluate, summarize and communicate assigned risk assessments and advisory activities. This includes communicating with and educating process owners effectively, including non-finance individuals, on the importance of standardized processes and controls, and the role of the A&A team
Provide management with facts and analyses that outline solutions and drive process improvement, cost reduction, and improved risk management
Serve as process consultant, across operations and finance to improve and standardize processes. A&A team drives/supports cross-functional strategic initiatives and cost reduction projects
Lead Manufacturing and Supply Chain operational improvement projects across vehicle and energy businesses.
Prepare and provide written and oral reports, communications and/or presentations to management presenting observations and facilitating management action plans
Respond to and support management requests regarding internal control assessments, process and procedure evaluations, special investigations and internal control education
Utilize data analysis techniques and software to evaluate and monitor financial and operational risks
Bachelor's degree from a renowned institution and excellent academic record
8+ years of experience in business and operational consulting experience
"Manufacturing" and "Supply Chain & Operations" experience would be an advantage
MBA/Phd from a premier institution
CPA/six sigma or related experience would be an advantage
Prefer manufacturing, automotive, consumer products, technology, strategy consulting, or other similar industry experience
Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem solving skills
Outstanding record of professional achievements
Ability to navigate through ambiguity, manage and coordinate multiple project assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Deadline-driven, organized and able to multitask
Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
