Amazon's Marketplace Abuse (MPA) team has grown exponentially and is looking to hire an experienced, passionate, dynamic, analytical and innovative Program Managers to support a number of initiatives on the Reported Abuse team. We are looking for someone who is entrepreneurial by design, relentless at getting things done and is capable of breaking down and solving complex problems.

This is a global role that will include interaction with global teams and requiring a strong ability to communicate effectively with various business teams. Travel may be required. The right candidate loves solving complex problems, is passionate about stopping bad actors and protecting customers. You should also have strong analytical skills and a proven track record of being able to successfully identify a solution, prepare a plan and execute it with strong results.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with stakeholders teams to plan, organize and execute both technical and non-technical initiatives. This includes working with cross regional teams, as well as technology teams to execute and build out innovative solutions.

  • Gather business requirements, develop program roadmaps, manage stakeholders, launch projects and measure success.

  • Asses and mitigate risks, resolve bottlenecks, serve as an escalation point of contact, anticipate and access trade-offs and balance business needs with technical constraints.

  • Develop and maintain Seller/Customer facing policies as well as operating procedures.

  • Analyze complex data sets and make inferences or recommendations to solve problems.

  • Develop metrics/goals and report out weekly/monthly progress.

  • Gather both technical and non-technical requirements, communicate program/project plans and report out status updates to leadership and relevant stakeholders.

VIEW JOBS 1/22/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-22T00:00 Minimum Qualifications: * B.S. degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field plus a minimum of seven years' experience or a minimum of ten years related experience in the construction industry with a commercial and/or or industrial general contractor * Experience in the management and coordination of multiple projects and employees at multiple sites or large projects at a single site * Experience with JOC and SABER contracts, a plus * Experience producing detailed fixed price estimates and has the ability to use RS Means, Gordian or other unit price books to produce detailed line item estimates when necessary * Expertise with MS Word, MS Excel, estimating and scheduling software, Visio, AutoCad; proficient in Project Management software * Excellent understanding of the principles, methods, and techniques of Engineering * Excellent negotiating skills * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Excellent project documentation and construction management principles * Excellent time management and organizational skills * Ability to work well in a team environment and willingness to motivate, inspire, and guide others to succeed * Ability to successfully manage the performance of a group and to provide meaningful feedback on a regular basis Scope of Responsibility: Assist in the management of all employees at a project site (Superintendents, Engineers, Project Managers, etc.) and is responsible for the site's overall financial performance. Enforces Risk Management practices at all necessary levels. Ensures that all employees are treated justly and professionally. Manages the performance management process at the local level: communicates performance expectations, uses effective coaching and mentoring practices to accomplish the objectives, and constructively addresses performance problems. Responsibilities include client interface, client satisfaction, contract administration, personnel administration, cost estimates, proposals, project financial management, subcontract agreements, project staffing, purchasing and schedules, enforcement of quality control and site safety, health, and substance abuse programs, developing and maintaining project records and project documentation, managing the data based management system, preparing reports and providing required input to corporate management. Position Duties: * Meet with Contracting Officer (or representative) on regular basis to discuss project status, determine client satisfaction and take immediate action to respond to any problem areas * Manage the projects in accordance with contract requirements and Centennial systems and procedures * Respond in a timely manner to all contract agreements, instructions, and inquiries from authorized government personnel * Enforce Quality Control Plan and implement Site Safety, Health, and Substance Abuse Programs * Attend pre-construction, progress and other project meetings; and provide minutes * Manage the management of delivery order execution in accordance with contract requirements and project management procedures * Attend pre-issuance site visits to determine existing conditions and client needs * Manage the development of detailed project scope of work to include Visio or AutoCad drawings, renderings, preliminary approximations of types of materials to be used and basic quantity counts * Review the proposal scope of work, specifications, and drawings to ensure they clearly define the project requirements and client expectations * Perform independent review of estimates based on technical specifications, scope of work and drawings or sketches; to include detailed quantity take-offs for each job order and enter line items into on-site computer containing the Unit Price Book software * Confirm all necessary line items are included in the estimate and any unnecessary items are excluded * Manage the development of project work packages for each definable feature of work and solicitation of detailed proposal information from at least proposals for each work package * Manage the coordination of subcontractor buyout; to include arranging and attending site visits with subcontractors, tracking subcontractor proposals and entering required data in project management software * Review project cost requirements to ensure compliance with project requirements and Centennial procedures * Review and approve proposal package for submission to client and attend negotiations to support the proposal as submitted * Review delivery order contracts, specifications, and drawings; accept the delivery orders * Establish and maintain project start, progress, and completion schedules * Perform required coordination with project architects and engineers * Manage negotiations with subcontractors * Review and approve detailed subcontractor agreements * Manage submittal process * Manage development of detailed project schedules * Manage project close-out; to include obtaining required documentation, assisting in pre-final inspections and As-Built drawings * Prepare yearly budgets and revenue forecasts * Manage project general conditions, to include staffing requirements * Manage monthly revenue and margins; ensure that financial requirements are attained for each project * Review and approve monthly project cost reports * Generate and review monthly project cost reports to manage project cash flow and over/under billings * Assign or hire additional staff as needed to respond to fluctuations in volume of work * Conduct weekly staff meetings to ensure timeliness and quality of delivery order work * Ensure compliance with Centennial's Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) guidelines and procedures along with all local requirements (OSHA, USACE EM385.1.1, etc.) * Responsible for notifying supervisor if an HSEQ infraction is observed We are a national General Contractor providing complex renovation and design/build construction services around the country.
