Locations: Southborough, Massachusetts; East Berlin, Connecticut; Manchester, New Hampshire

This is a hybrid role. The first three months are full time in the office.

Provide direction and planning for operational technology programs within Engineering related to the Company's use of advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) data to improve grid operations. Responsibilities include coordination with Eversource internal stakeholders to support development of data warehouse platform technologies, prioritization of projects utilizing AMI data for engineering and operations use cases, and project management of programs and initiatives for prioritized AMI data use cases. Other major responsibilities include coordination of various studies, scheduling of resources and monitoring of project costs and meeting or exceeding expectations for the successful implementation of projects within mandated regulatory time limits and budgets.

Essential Functions:

  • Develops tactical plans for the group to ensure that the Company is operationally ready and in full compliance with state and federal energy legislation and regulations.

  • Oversees the department's projects through their complete life-cycle, from application to final project test and closeout.

  • Analyzes, tracks and reports on department goals, SLA's and other metrics as needed.

  • Analyzes data and develops reports regarding projects.

  • Tracks and analyzes engineering and project costs to improve forecasting.

  • May provide direction and guidance to employees working on various programs

  • Represent the Company's interests at industry caucuses at state, regional and national levels in the development of rules and regulations, rates and tariffs, etc.

  • May provide regulatory and legislative support, including answering interrogatories, and witness testimony as required.

Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:

Technical Knowledge/Skill:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent knowledge of electric power system operations, utility regulation and tariffs, applicable governmental and regulatory laws, rules and regulations.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Applied Science, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent technical experience. MBA or Master's degree in Engineering preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of directly related experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. The salary range for this position is $115,000.00 to $127,500.00, plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with your experience. Check out the career site for an overview of benefits.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.

  • Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
