DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

Program Manager responsible for the completion of complex NPI engineering projects involving AMD IP (Silicon, HW, SW) and partner technologies (Fabric, Storage, Accelerators) to deliver data center system solutions

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define, plan, and drive engineering program plans based on AMD management and senior technical guidance

  • Provide program management leadership to technical teams spanning multiple disciplines and geographies

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders in product planning, development, and validation activities

  • Coordinate team communications and reviews with AMD senior management and customers

  • Monitor and control schedule and scope throughout the program lifecycle

  • Track and report status vs. objectives throughout the lifecycle of the program

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, both written and oral

  • High attention to detail and good follow through in a fast pace environment

  • Experience in areas of data center system design, software development, and validation

  • Familiarity with testing tools, methodologies, and defect tracking

  • Ability to function independently in a fast paced, dynamic environment

EDUCATION:

  • 8+ years project management experience in high tech industry

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree; PMP certification preferred, but not required

  • Skilled in MS Office & MS Project tool suites, Confluence, MS Sharepoint, Jira

Austin Base Salary Range: 80,000 - 106,000 USD per year Your job. Indeed Associate Product Managers (APMs) drive impact and inspire loyalty throughout the company. We are entrepreneurs from day one, reimagining existing products and inventing new ones to meet the ever-changing demands needs of our users. You'll spend your first three months in Indeed University—our innovative onboarding program for recent grads—prototyping, building, and pitching a new product idea—and will either continue growing your newly created product or begin leading an established product end-to-end throughout your first year product rotation, before rotating to lead a high-profile product your second year.
