  • Ensure successful completion of all mission operations in accordance with established policies and management goals regarding funding, storage, work load, manpower capability, component, issue, equipment items, and inventory control procedures. Plan, analyze, advise on work operations and execute mission projects. Establish contacts with Defense Reutilization and Marketing Offices to ensure excess property items listed are accurate and issue able items are readily available. Plan, organize and instruct personnel on supply and administrative functions, work techniques, and procedures. Determine and monitor personnel requirements, establish work priorities, organize work schedules, assign duties, and instruct office, and packing/warehouse personnel on special requirements and high priority workloads. Investigate and determine responsibility for lost, damaged, and/or destroyed supply items and initiate corrective action.. Performance goals for Task 1 are:

  • All tasks are accurately completed as scheduled.

  • Effective supervision was provided.

  • KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Knowledge of office processes, procedures, and technology. Experience in supervising project and team activities. Ability to read and interpret accounting and financial reports. This is normally acquired through a combination of the completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and/or three to five years of office experience which includes supervisory responsibility.

  • Prior experience/knowledge of working with the Humanitarian Assistance Excess Property (HA-EP) Program preferred.

Five to Seven (5 - 7) years' of experience in logistics management or related field

Must possess a current and valid U.S. Driver's License

Ability to operate a 10,000-25,000 pound forklift

Operate a 25-passenger bus

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: * Develop a district project management plan to include milestones, timelines and responsible personnel. * Structure the work of the L4GA implementation teams. * Analyze the district's scope of work to determine alignment with state's scope of work, potential for success, and capacity for district to implement activities. * Implement processes and procedures to assess the quality of program implementation of the district's scope of work and its alignment with the district's strategic plan. * Conduct onsite monitoring of L4GA schools and providing feedback and support to improve implementation. * Collect, summarizing, and analyzing progress data and providing feedback to district staff, Superintendent, local board, and community stakeholders. * Submit budget and other reports in a timely manner. * Design and conducting technical assistance/training based on assessment of district's needs. * Participate in all state-wide required meetings, training, and professional development. * Perform other duties as assigned by the Director.
