Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems is currently seeking a Program Manager 3 to provide leadership to our Marshall Space Flight Center and Huntsville Operations team in our Huntsville, AL offices.
The Program Manager for SLS Operations in Huntsville is responsible for managing Northrop Grumman's Resident Management Office (RMO) at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) and other support activities in the Alabama community.
o Assembly & Structures (Aft Skirt, Fwd Skirt & Stage Assembly IPTs)
o Controls (Avionics, TVC, FSS, & Pyro IPTs)
o Motor/BSM (PLI, Nozzle, Case/Metals/Seals, and Finishing/Test IPTs)
o Configuration Management (SE&I IPT)
o Direct Support of NASA MSFC SLS BEO Program Manager
o Direct Support of NASA MSFC SLS BEO Chief Engineer and support engineering groups
o Process of MRB items, Waivers, and Deviations at MSFC
o Site Director of Booster MSFC Test facilities including the HIL/SIL
o IT support and account management of Northrop Grumman systems for NASA employees/contractors
o IT Support and account management of NASA systems for Northrop Grumman personnel
Represent Northrop Grumman as a board member with the National Space Club (NSC) Huntsville Chapter. Partner with the NSC and Northrop Grumman's Communications department in supporting STEM activities, scholarships, von Braun Memorial Symposium and Dinner, and other community activities.
Support the Northrop Grumman sponsored NASA Student Launch program in representing Northrop Grumman at MSFC during the annual team development, review proposals and Flight Readiness Review (FRR) packages, and support technical displays and competition launches.
Represent Northrop Grumman and support related activities and management meetings at other various sponsored events at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center (USSRC) and MSFC including NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge, Space Camp Hall of Fame, Space Camp Summer Programs and specific Northrop Grumman sponsor week, etc.
Coordinate and support a variety of activities (STEM Outreach, team building, cross training etc.) with various other NG organizations such as other sectors, divisions, business unites and Corporate Citizenship.
Work with Government Relations and the NG Corporate Lead Executive for Huntsville to represent the Sector and SLS Program with Alabama state and federal congressional offices as well as represent NG with organizations such as the Aerospace States Association.
Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of engineering or Program Management experience.
Ability to travel: Travel expectation of 5-10%

Demonstrated ability to work with a broad and diverse customer base internal and external.
o Ten (10) plus years' experience
Knowledge of and experience with Government, SLS, and NASA programs a plus.
Two years of supervisory experience preferred
Skills & Qualifications:
Broad understanding of MRB process and associated systems.
Strong working knowledge of collaborative team software (SharePoint, etc.)
Strong working knowledge of ePIC lifecycles and review cycles.
