The Arc Montgomery County's Inclusive Living Services - Community Living Division is now hiring Program Manager 2 for role open within the division.

Community Living Services offer full residential services focused on individualized support for adults with intellectual & developmental disabilities, at 30+ single family homes, townhomes or condos owned or operated by The Arc Montgomery County. Residents have their personal, medical, and nutritional needs, met by caring staff, and are provided opportunities to participate in a variety of community activities

Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Community Living Services, the Program Manager 2 is directly responsible for the management and oversight of supports for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities who reside in assigned homes. In conjunction with the Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), a Program Manager 2 is responsible for the well-being and development of people receiving community living supports. The Program Manager 2 will provide supervision and guidance to lead staff and DSPs to ensure activities of daily living skills are implemented. He/she is responsible for ensuring homes project a sense of dignity, privacy and respect for the people living there and will ensure the daily management and operation of each home environment is in compliance with COMAR regulations, HIPPA regulations, DDA standards, State and County regulations and The Arc Montgomery County's policies and procedures.

Under the direction of and in conjunction with, the Assistant Director of Community Living Services, the Program Manager 2 will be responsible for ensuring that homes are fully staffed. Furthermore, the Program Manager 2 will assist with maintaining the set schedules for the homes, interviewing, hiring, training and evaluating DSPs. As a leader in the agency, the Program Manager 2 will act as a role model to their staff, promote quality service and will carry out the mission of the agency as it relates to inclusion for all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree plus three years of relevant experience; or an Associates' Degree plus five years of relevant experience; or a High School Diploma plus seven years of relevant experience.

• One year of experience must be at a supervisory level.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to travel between locations during work hours.

• Must have the ability to transport people supported in a personal or agency vehicle when necessary.

• Ability to fluently read, write and understand the English language and to effectively receive and deliver verbal and written communication.

• Must have proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Word

• Lift 50lbs with assistance when supporting people with developmental disabilities.

• Withstand prolonged periods of standing, frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pulling and pushing.

Salary: $59,345 - $62,350 pa depending on education and experience
