Job Title: Program Manager

Job Location: Salt Lake City, Utah

This position is a hybrid role and requires work from on site, with some remote hours. Relocation to Salt Lake City, UT area will be considered.

Job Description:

  • Will lead diverse systems sustainment and production efforts across varied spectrums of defense and special mission systems aircraft.

  • The candidate will act as the primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with the customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.

  • The candidate will develop new business or expand the product line with the customer.

  • The candidate will establish milestones and monitor adherence to the master plan and schedule, identify program problems and obtain solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.

  • The candidate will work with management for assigned personnel and overall program performance from the proposal stage, into production, delivery and contract closeout.

  • The candidate will lead the capture of new business to include responding to sources sought/ requests for information (RFI), requirements/Statement of Work generation, and proposal development.


  • Technical or Business Bachelor Degree with a minimum of six (6) years of experience with Program or Production Management/Finance/EVMS, or Project Engineering experience.

  • Customer liaison experience required.

  • Will interface with and present proposed solutions to high-level representatives of customers.

  • Ability to develop customer specifications and correspondence related to new systems requirements.

  • Knowledge of technical approaches involved in data link programs.

  • Will interface with and present proposed solutions to high-level representatives of customers.

  • Knowledge of U.S. Government acquisition practices and ability to develop customer specifications and correspondence related to new systems requirements.

  • Must be able to successfully lead a cross functional team comprised of functional groups from engineering, manufacturing and support areas of the company to achieve successful performance to budget and contract completion on schedule.

  • Must be able to demonstrate leadership and positive interpersonal interaction skills with the customer.

  • Must have an understanding of Government contract types such as Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) and Firm Fixed Price (FFP).

  • Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and familiar with Project.

  • Must be able to travel domestically

  • Weekends and overtime as required

  • Must have Risk Management experience as a Program Manager

  • Must have experience as a Program Manager in the Aerospace and/or Defense industry.

  • Must have experience in technical program planning, cost and schedule development.

  • Must have a current and active Secret security clearance

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Current, or in scope, TSSCI, highly preferred.

  • PM experience with Fixed Wing and Rotary Wing experience desired.

  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills

  • Strong sense of project ownership and accountability, ability to move projects forward and stay on top of deadlines

Qualifications Qualifications Required * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Accounting, Finance, a related field, or the equivalency. * Four years of progressively more responsible financial management analyst experience.
