Collins Aerospace PWES Program office is looking for an experienced highly motivated Program/Project Manager to lead cross functional Cost Reduction teams for Commercial and Military Programs. The successful candidate will develop new strategies to enhance profitability and supporting business cases, and manage on-time execution and implementation of savings working closely with the Program Managers, Global Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, and the Partnership Program Office.

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.

  • Master's degree in Business Administration is preferred.

Due to federal regulation or contracting requirements, this position is only available to a U.S. Person. At this time, Collins Aerospace will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.

Experience / Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or Business is required.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Program Management, Project Engineering, Operations, and/or Supply Chain Management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration is preferred.

  • Proficiency in SAP and/or Excel VB.

  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills are essential.

  • Ability to navigate and strategically manage competing priorities and engage comfortably across a broad functional team.

The Customer & Account Management organization plays a critical role at Collins Aerospace both internally and externally. Primary Responsibilities * Responsible for all internal/external customer elements: customer satisfaction, budget planning and monthly financial updates, scope and schedule management, contract assertions and negotiations, risk mitigation, problem resolution and monthly program updates to UTAS & PW Vice Presidents/Directors. * Principal business interface with the customer as well as the customer advocate within UTAS, while meeting the overall objectives of the Engine Systems business. * Work closely with the Contract Administrator and the Program Chief Engineer to coordinate business and engineering activities. * Provide direction/support for all activities related to customer deliverables and required to maintain customer satisfaction. * Manage the day to day activities of the program while supporting and coordinating efforts with engineering, finance, contracts, program office, major suppliers and multiple IPD teams, with direct interface to the customer. * Point of contact for customer communications, the Program Manager must have good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and resolve complex problems to ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget to customer needs. Education: * Bachelor's degree required. Business, Engineering or related field preferred. * MBA or Master's degree beneficial. Individual must be able to hold or be able to obtain government security clearance Qualifications: * 10+ years of experience in Program Management, Contracts Administration, Project Engineering or related position. * Experience should include a proven track record of managing projects, EVMS and customer satisfaction. * Strong cross-functional leadership and attention to detail are critical for this position.
