As a PM&O Manager you will manage a team of EFFA Program Managers and EFFA Operations team (Procurement, Lab Management, Ops Supervisors) during NPI test stations planning and execution of all products EFFA test lines.

Key Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of industry work experience, with 2-5 years in a people management role, in Program/Product Management or Operations.

  • Leader with established track record of managing procurement, inventory, supply chain, project management, operations, and lab management & NPI responsibilities.

  • Experience in planning procurement, supply chain and NPI program management.

  • Passion for problem solving and identifying root cause.

  • Ability to identify and communicate improvements for current operations, & business processes.

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong work ethic with a high degree of flexibility in supporting multiple projects with a range of complexity & priority.

  • Previous track record working with multi-functional/interdisciplinary teams.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate complex items in simple language.

  • Experience presenting at all levels of the organization, from individual contributors to senior leadership.

  • High attention to detail.

  • Ability to travel as the need arises.

Description

PM&O Manager responsibilities include leading test line definition requirements in collaboration with multi-functional engineering teams. Coordinate with engineering and PM's to optimize EFFA test station list and define equipment procurement requirements. Understand test station functionality as it relates to the product features Manage BOM review discussions with EFFA Test Engineers, Ops TE, PQM, and HW TE team to finalize equipment requirements. Responsible for developing end to end plan that includes line layout, test station requirement, procurement of equipment, Engineering and Ops TAW headcount/budget, vendor engagement and system updates. Assign team resources (including TAW) to execute deliverables according end to end plan for each product test line. Deliver budget forecast (equipment & Ops, EPM and TE resources) across all EFFA programs and present to the Finance/PQM partners and AppleCare leadership. Start procurement activities and keep track of projected vs actuals spend every month. Provide oversight over vendor management including test station parts availability, lead time and exception management. Initiate and manage vendor resource engagement and planning for equipment installation. Lead troubleshooting activities for all HW and SW test engineering issues to meet test station readiness timelines for all product lines. Serve as the voice-of-AppleCare EFFA team in various Operations, EPM and Engineering forums. Provide mentorship to EPM's, Lab Managers, and Operations supervisors.

Education & Experience

BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science or equivalent experience. MBA is considered a plus.

Pay & Benefits

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $192,700.00 and $289,800.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
