MuleSoft is seeking a motivated, experienced Program Management Sr. Analyst/Analyst to join our exceptionally dedicated team within the Office of the COO in the Americas. As a Program Manager/Sr. Analyst/Analyst, you will assist in running large-scale projects and portfolios of projects using your excellent knowledge of program and project management processes, procedures, methodologies, and best practices. A special focus is needed to be able to examine the project at its most macro and micro levels for solutions and to seek to lead and provide clarity to the team when there is ambiguity; you will use those skills every day as you collaborate with different levels of stakeholders for the success of the projects. Prioritization skills will be key as there will always be competing priorities from MuleSoft and Salesforce stakeholders whom you collaborate with.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Business Ops & Architecture, the ideal candidate is a self-starter with leadership and management qualities who can thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with limited supervision. You must possess superb communication skills, keen attention to detail, and be a fast learner who can quickly absorb the nuances of the organization to effectively manage complex projects in a large enterprise organization, and drive decisions and projects to completion. Success in this role will be measured by the efficiencies you enable in virtually every function within MuleSoft and how you gather and transform enterprise-level business needs into an actionable product vision and requirements and see it to completion.

Every day will be different and requires working with different levels of team members for the success of the project. Not only will this role require project management, but also the desire to jump in and provide analysis and assistance to close and complete resistant components of the projects. Experience working on the following topics and with the respective teams will be a great asset: Engineering, Solution Engineering, Sales Forecasting & Reporting, Change Management, Customer Success, and Customer Support. Past technical program management, agile, and system integration, work are very relevant and desirable for the role.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage project plans

  • Monitor and review project progress and timelines and adjust schedules and plans as needed

  • Lead meetings with varying stakeholders for discovery and issue resolution to ensure project success

  • Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of projects with proper governance during the execution of the project

  • Manage day-to-day execution of project implementations and work on bringing individual deliverables to closure personally and as a team.

  • Assist with the planning, tracking, documentation, and status updates to key stakeholders for the project

  • Manage a variety of interrelated projects, requiring complex cross-functional teamwork and management at the program level

  • Exercise solid project leadership skills combined with strong business acumen and in-depth analytical skills

  • Facilitate requirements gathering and assist with the creation of project deliverables, as needed

  • Facilitate review sessions. Participate in end-to-end implementation planning including project management, issue management, communication, and change management. As necessary, write and review QA and UAT test script

  • Manage UAT with end users including coordination and user acceptance sign-off

  • Prepare user documentation and training documentation as necessary with strengths in curtailing materials for the intended audiences

  • Leverage business knowledge and expertise to drive business/technical process improvements

  • Establish and maintain advisor relationships with client project stakeholders by providing vision and future product roadmap information

  • Have courageous conversations regarding resources and timelines and formally capture and communicate the outcomes of those meetings

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • 3+ years experience in Project Management Roles with a proven track record of delivering business value

  • 3+ years of experience managing multi-functional projects/changes for organizations

  • 3+ years experience successfully managing programs with multiple sub-projects and project managers. Sales, M&A, and integration experience are highly valued.

  • Implementing enterprise-scale software solutions, CRM, and Salesforce.com implementation experience preferred

  • Experience with business process expertise and sales lifecycle are crucial

  • Manage the Software Development Lifecycle and Agile Software development practices

  • Demonstrated project leadership skills, with direct responsibility for managing project teams and schedules.

  • Demonstrated project management skills with very large multi-functional teams.

  • Outstanding and effective interpersonal skills; along with strong communication skills both verbal and written.

  • Ability to weigh business and technical requirements to produce project plans and estimates.

  • Ability to lead both small and enterprise-wide engagements, facilitate meetings, and effectively manage client escalations.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment.

  • Ability to be flexible with a positive attitude and learn quickly in a dynamic environment.

  • Ability to be productive in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.

  • PMP Certification and Salesforce.com Certifications (Admin, Sales, Service, Marketing, etc.) are preferred but not necessary

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and/or Information Technology or equivalent experience

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $87,200 to $119,900.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $87,200 to $119,900.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
