Alion's Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) group is seeking a Program Analyst to support a critical mission partner under Alion's Africa AOR ILS contract. If you are looking for a dynamic and challenging opportunity with growth potential this is the role for you.
Under immediate supervision, performs a variety of project administration support services involving travel documentation, employee administration, Purchase orders, invoicing and other related tasking in support of the Project/Program Manager.
The Program Analyst will be responsible to all or any combination of the below tasking together with the Program and Project Manager:
Involved in one project or numerous projects.
Responsibilities include a wide range of duties involving initial job planning, scheduling of time, scheduling of materials, coordination of subcontractors, monitoring of job progress, analysis of changes, and problem solving.
Develops plans including budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for several major portions of a program.
Interfaces with vendors and customers and performs extensive investigations as required.
Consults the deployment schedule and then updates the schedule throughout the program. Uses the schedule to analyze the impact of change orders, delays, and any other schedule disruptions.
Works very closely with the project manager and the subcontractors during the pre-deployment process.
Produces critical scheduling information for the project team's use.
Monitors performance reports against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met; arranges modifications as required.
Works with the Project Management Team to ensure contract level CDRL's are created and delivered on time.
Briefs management on the status of action items and metrics to track performance.
May assist in writing narratives for reports.
Expected to be able to use multiple gov't websites as well as internal reporting mechanisms in order to adhere to strict deployment guidelines.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

A current Secret security clearance is preferred; a TS/SCI is highly preferred.
Travel up to 25% of the time may be required, CONUS and/or OCONUS.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree preferred. 2-4 years directly related experience working in support of a Program Manager in the DoD setting is preferred. In some cases, work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience.
CAPM or PMP certification desired.
Experience with OASIS, RSC, GSA and FEDSIM contracts a plus.
Strong Excel and MS Project skills desired.
