Our International Projects team is seeking a Program Management Advisor to join the team in North Wilkesboro, NC! In this role you will bring your program experience to collaborate with M&E, Technical Advisors, and Program Management teams to identify needs and develop tools and trainings for our disaster recovery efforts in field offices around the world. A day in the life of a Program Management Advisor:

At Samaritans Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do! We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to be an effective witness for Him.

• Review project proposals and reports from a program management perspective to promote adoption of effective program management principles.

• Build rapport with, coach, and develop core competencies in staff serving in program management and program development roles in field offices.

• If required, serve on the Incident Management Team (IMT) and potentially deploy on Disaster Assistance Response Teams (DARTs) in a program management role to ensure good program management practices are followed and to facilitate coordination between Program Manager and Information Officer roles.

• Develop tools, templates, and resources for Samaritans Purse field office teams to promote adoption of recommended program management principles.

• Deliver virtual and on-site trainings for field office staff on program management topics.

• All other duties as assigned
